So sorry to hear about your cat, Joeyjimbles. If you are not an animal lover it can be hard to appreciate how much they mean to us, but you certainly did the right thing for the cat. However, that doesn't make it any easier for you, I know. I am thinking about you.

Great that some of us are paying cards off - fabtastic!! I feel a little bit as if I share in everyone else's victory, if you know what I mean - it's a great motivator to know that we can ch ip away at what we owe! :A

£2.00 PAD for me yesterday, and hopefully a bit more by the end of the day.

Off to do housework [grrr] - at least it's sunny, if cold, so sheets flapping on the line - always cheers me up to dry my laudry outside. [dear God, I am sadder than even I thought...]

    Good Saturday, everyone!!

Sorry to hear about your cat Joey. It's an awful thing to ome to terms with, had a bit of a scare with my cat a couple of days ago, lost feeling in one of her legs, looked in a real bad way, thankfully she is recovering now but it definately made me think about things.
    Keep the Faith!

Hi everyone, how is everyone this weekend? I feel pretty awful today, so does OH but he has still gone off to work. I am supposed to be doing some assignments today but i cant even bring myself to get up off the sofa

Flower08 - Ooooooh what a lovely surprise the £40 extra in your O/H wages good-news-175.gif..... I know that you both want to move back to O/Hs hometown and i'm sure that you put the reason on here for wanting to save money for your move first and then pay towards your debts , but i can't remember what it was HSquestion.gif .... I have looked quickly through your last couple of " posts " but still can't see it .... I'm not criticising your choice, just being nosey ! ....

Fag Ash Lil - OH and i always planned to move back there once i have finished university, however we weren't in any hurry to do so. Just recently though OH has become increasingly unhappy living here - think it is something to do with alot of his friends moving away. I feel bad that he moved here for me and is now unhappy so i told him aslong as we continue to make payments towards the debts we could try and get the money saved up to move.
I know alot of people will think its silly having savings and debts at the same time, but i would rather he is happy and we are least making the minimum repayments.

So on that note paid £15 to savings today and £3.83 to Natwest CC.
    Total PAD today is £18.83

    sorry for the long ramble!!!

Joeyjimbles so sorry to hear about your cat, i am a cat lover myself so appreciate how upsetting it must be. I used to have two cats, but unfortunatly one died last year. I was absolutly riddled with guilt as the vet said we should start thinking about having him put to sleep, he then passed away in the night.
I am thinking about you at the minute, i know how much of an attachment you can form with cats (if you dont like cats you probably wont understand!!).
Anyway sending you a big dodgy hug!!

Ah, bless you Joeyjimbles, it's always horrible to lose a much-loved pet. Sending you a big psychic hug!

PAD £1.69 for me today - notice how I did it in bold for the first time?!:p

Anyway, it went to Egg card again. I reckon by the end of Feb, the total amount that I owe SmEgg (loan + CC) will drop to under 3k, good news indeed!

I'm off shopping for food in a few mins, I'll try not to spend more than £20, though the odds aren't great as my other half eats like a horse!
