Good Saturday morning! To those who have to work i hope the day goes quickly faireuncoucou.gif

Newmum - hope you're feeling less teary today. Blinkin' mother nature eh? She plays some cruel games ;)

Gtx - i think being a parent is a constant round of guilt, but we can't do it all. I don't work saturdays but do work ft. I feel guilty at weekends cause i often have to drag little one round shops if hubby working or have to waste time catching up on chores. It's guilt rollercoaster. Let's hope our kids appreciate us when they're older! enfbisou.gif

    Hi all
What fab payments and well done all of you who have managed to drop a card! Well done.
No payments for me today and possibly not for a while as had to take beloved and aged cat to the vet last night for the last time. She was nearly 17 and her kidneys have been packing up for a while but the truly lovely vet also found a few others things that were going wrong and so I made the only decision that I could. They couldn't have been kinder and they were so gentle with her but I miss her so much despite knowing that it was the only thing to do. I know you lot will understand.

On a positive note I've managed to save enough money in the bank a/c by following lots of old-style tips that I can almost pay for the bill without going into the o/d and the kind vet said that they will send us the bill so hopefully next month's money will be in before it arrives. Off to be a bit sad. x

Hello everyone. The clock on my laptop isn't set properly so I'm not sure if it's still morning or afternoon yet:confused: and I can't be bothered getting up to find out. I'm having a lazy day as you can probably guess.

My one task for the day will be to find out what the heck is in my freezer. I seem to have spent a fortune on food shopping this month yet I have a freezer full to the top with stuff that needs to be used. Then it'll be meal planning.

For some reason I can't log into my bank account as it keeps telling me I've got the password wrong. I don't want to try again as if I get it wrong I'll have to reset the whole lot over the phone so I'll wait until Monday when I can check the correct password (which is written down in a secret place at work). But I did have £1.55 in my purse so that's gone into the pot for today's pad.

Big congrats to those who have already reaped the rewards of their pad by paying off some of their debts.

Big hugs to joeyjimbles - I'm really sorry to hear about your cat.

£10.31 to the egg card today, i actually ended the month with money in the bank? very bizarre!! Though i have left a little bit in as a buffer the first 2 weeks in the month are always hard for us. so it will be back to £1 plus oddments a day now for a couple of weeks unless of course i win the lottery!
