Hi, Panambi - I am a recent PAD-er and am already addicted. The more information you give people here, the more advice, help and support you will get. I can honestly say I have never met such a supportive group of people. We all have our good and bad days but we are all here to help each other out. However big or small your PAD, it all adds up in the end. Once we pay off everything and are debt-free, we are going to be so savings - conscious we will have POTS of money lolling around in our bank accounts or ISAs earning us shedloads of interest and paying for Caribbean holidays without a second thought. [You think????]

No PAD yesterday as went up North to see my Mum in hospital. Fortunately she is being discharged today, after a worrying 2 weeks when we feared her residential care home would not be able to take her as she was not mobile. Fortunately, she can now move a few steps on her zimmer frame so they kindly agreed to have her back [although at over £400.00 a week it's not all the milk of human kindness, i guess!] So that's a weight off our minds. Going up cost quite a bit so no PAD yesterday - plus bought cheeky glass of wine on my journey home as I was so stressed out. Still, will make mega-PAD tomorrow to compensate and hopefully ex will pay my January maintenance tomorrow so I can tax my car!! Will update signature this weekend.

Well done, thevinternet - you must be feeling great!! Greenbynature - what news about our husband and the school trip money?? Bet you felt better after you gave him an ear-bashing! [Wish I'd done it years ago!!]
    Have a good weekend, all!!

    Evening everyone,

OH got paid today and i was pleasantly surprised, there was about £40 more there than expected (he gets paid weekly), so paid £4.97 to HSBC CC and £10 to savings. Have decided to try and up the antic for the savings a bit, as i am thinking the sooner we have the money to move back to OHs hometown the sooner i can start putting more towards the debts ( not sure if that makes sense to anyone else except me?? ). Please shout at me and tell me if you think thats the wrong approach to take!!

Everyone seems to be much more positive today, probably something to do with payday!! :T Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend - i have a pretty boring one planned, do some university work saturday and then go to work on sunday - earn some much needed pennies. :D

    Total PAD is £14.97

  • What a week. Glad it'd Friday. Getting the calculator warmed up for taking over from FF on Sunday. Can i say a BIG thankyou to all the paders that put their totals in bold.......makes it sooo much easier to spot. (Did you notice how diplomatic that was?) Go advanced before you post and its dead easy to make your total big, coloured, bold you name it!I am determined to clear some clutter, and get a bit more organised this weekend....Hmm....we shall see.

£1.30 for me today to barclaycard. Really looking forward to that statement.
