After my over enthusiasm with the payment a day last month and then finding I was flat broke for 2 weeks I am back to the dedication of reducing my debts bit by bit each day, do need to be a little more reserved this month, especially after having just spent £85 at the vet Arrggghhhhh.
As its payday today I will pay £15 to my my egg card and then it will be much smaller amounts for the rest of the month.
Good luck everyone and happy payday for those of us paid on the last working day of the month!!!0 -
£1.30 for me today to the dreaded egg card.Total Debt 10/5/2009, £2189.10, 1/6/09 £1420.75

£8.12 to Egg from me today.
I had loads of trouble with internet banking this morning too.
Maybe too many PAD's from us have crashed the system? LOL.
Busy at work so will check in later to have a read of how everyone has got on! Have a good one....

Well done P&C that is awesome!! :T
FINALLLLLYYY IT IS PAAAAYY DAAYYYYY :money:
£50.30 to Mint CC
Yes it is finally UNDER £100 and now nearly closer to £50, so by end of Feb at the latest it will be gone and I can concentrate on one at higher interest.
I had chose MINT first as it was the lowest amount - so a VICTORY would come early :T :TJoint debt - £25,090

Gooooooooood afternoon everyone. TFI Friday:j
Feeling a lot better today - it must be all of the positive vibes from this forum!! There's been some fantastic totals and it's great to see people paying off their debts.
I'm relieved to actually see money in the bank. 6 weeks without pay is a hellish long time. Anyhoo £5 to pad for me today.
I'm planning a nice relaxing weekend - to hell with the housework:rotfl:I forgot to tell you that I joined Slimming World last week and weigh in is on Monday so I won't be overdoing the wine and chocolates but instead it will be feet up in front of the tv and stove watching movies (if it snows it will feel even nicer).
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.
Fag_Ash_Lil - can totally relate to you about the needles. I've been suffering with severe anaemia just lately and I've been backwards and forwards for blood tests to check my blood count levels. Not the most pleasant of experiences - but I do have a rather dishy doctor so that's some consolation. It's a good job he doesn't have to check my blood pressure though!!Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Lol at how many of us on this challenge are paying money to Egg cards and loans!! They'll be hating us for lowering their interest charges so much each month!!
And for clogging up their system with all our piddly payments every day, hee hee!:p
Anyway, it was Direct Debit day today for my two loans, so in total that makes a payment of £126.46 for today!
Oh - and today was the first day I went sub-35k....I'm so cheery!

Hi there
I have come across this thread a few days ago and have been reading as much as I can. It seems such a fantastic idea, can I join please?
Hubby and I have quite a lot of debts but I will probably be the only one "PADing" as he doesn't have the same mindset about debts than I do. Our debts have been constantly on my mind for quite some time now and they don't seem to go down either so this seems a good idea to reduce them, bit by bit. Need to get exact amounts and all that. Enough of burying my head in the sand! Time to take action!LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422
