Chalky - the blanket looks fantastic - what a brilliant idea to add the hearts! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you have put into it.
It's great to be back but, like you, Chalky, I don't know where the time goes! I have done about six loads of washing so that accounts for some of it! I've found the time to put two photos on Wooligans - not knitting but the grandchildren. I can't post them on here no matter how hard I try, so I hope no-one minds me putting them on the Wooligans.
Well, the dinner is almost ready so I'd better get off here and start dishing up.

Maytaurus - hi there and thanks for all those links to wonderful things! I'm saving them all to have a good look through tomorrow and will be doing a lot of printing! I hope you are having a good day today.
Well, I've got all the washing dry and just have a huge pile of ironing to look forward to in the morning but such is life, I suppose. I'm really weary so I'm going to sit down with some knitting. Now that I've got some pure wool I can do my poetry squares; I should be able to get them off by the deadline hopefully.
I hope you are all having a great evening.

Hi Everyone! It's good to be back. I have a lovely sun tan but it feels like it's fading already in this weather so I've been catching up on everyone's news as I missed you all.
Shaz hope you are feeling better.
Mioliere huge congrats to you and yours. The safe arrival of a lovely new baby is fantastic news and what a pretty name! You must put aside a set of needles with her name on them for when she is older!
Lovely to see you back Chalky and what a great job you've done with the blanket. Thank you for your hard work on our behalf and I think the hearts bring it together beautifully. More squares to come from me.
Mrs MP, how is the school blanket coming along?
Spent some time this evening ("prompted" by DH....) sorting out my wool. I had more than I realised, an awful lot of bits and bobs but perfect for IS hats. It's all looking alot tidier now and hopefully will help my general organisation, but I have misplaced my favourite circular which is annoying me. Will get DH to check the suitcase which has just been put back into the attic - good job I built up some brownie points with the tidying! Really must get some WIPs finished too, the longer you leave 'em, the harder they are to finish!
Just remembered - the tooth fairy in our house is very MSEand my DS1 was delighted with his shiny 50p coin!
Hope everyone and their loved ones are well x0 -

Good Morning everybosy
I am just enjoying the morning sunshine with Buster DD1 drops him off on her way to work and he is a pure delight but growing so fast. We have all totally lost our hearts to him !
Well the dyeing proved to be great fun We now have 1 vibrant pink, 1 pale pink, 1 purple and 1 Navy Blue so we need to do a few more colours and then the applique can begin in earnest !!
It is so lovely to be back and catching up with all your news. When we were away it felt like I was genuinely missing friends and thought about you all every day.
I hope everone else had good trips and have returned feeling all refreshed.
I am sure Summer and your other grandchildren are the first thing you smile about every morning Kathy and I hope you are able to quickly settle back into your French life and keep us up to date with all the goings on
Maytaurus so happy to see you posting- Your wonderful posts act as a barometer to how you feel
1 piece of very good news-- amazing actually. My friend took her children to the hedgehog hospital near here and was wandering around the little shop there and got talking to the lady who runs it. Well of course my hedgehog huddle was mentioned and how we all knit for charity.Well the owner rang me and asked me to bring the hedgies to show her and she has bought all 60 which will cover all the postage of the blankets and my latest parcel to Loving Hands and Shelley ( Yes it is on its way I promise ) Well that really was wonderful news and just shows how the good goes round !!
I will wait for a little while now to get the last few squares for the 2 remaining Friendship blankets and thank you to you all. I think by the time the last few that you have already knitted or are just finishing arrive the blankets will be a perfect size. Then I will finish them off and photograph them and mission acomplished
I can not believe how quickly our Uk time is flying -- I guess all these weddings have speeded things up. I have so much wool to get ready to take back especially if the Spanish knitting group want to help us agin
Ok I must get on. Gentle thoughts to all those who need them and congratulations to all thsoe celebratingTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Hi Chalky - well done on such a good result with your hedgies, although I bet you miss them all now and will have to replace them! You are so right about the good going round! The dyeing sounds great fun. Buster looks so cute, doesn't he? I bet he's a real time-waster!
Yes, the little ones are the first things I think about when I wake up and I will miss them all so much until our next visit. DH has promised we'll go back at least every three months so I am already planning the next trip. At least with Skype I can see them when we talk - I'd be lost without that and it's what keeps me going.
Well, the ironing board is up so I'd better get cracking. I started my Knit a Poem square last night; I need to get that done and the crochet one they've asked for asap so knitting for Summer will have to wait awhile, although I have some truly gorgeous pink wool for her that I'd longing to turn into something.
Hope you are all having a good day.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
