Just made a small adjustment to the crib pattern.

    Pillow should read (Make 2)
    Slight changes to Blanket/Hood back

Pretty sure you folks are bright enough to have figured that out for yourselves, but those publishing pattern or passing it on may want to alter your version. :D

Hi Shelley - a parcel is on its way - mainly PamsPal's work - I still haven't finished off my cardis - think its 6 now! :o

There are a couple of pieces I have patterns for - the lovely mock cable hat and the sideways shell crochet blanket. I'll email them after I've done the necessary tidying up.

Been busy with my Mum lately, hospital - in and out and in again, but have a few bits in mind that may be useful for when things calm down a bit.

    Hi everyone

(((Hugs))) to you, Aeshna - I hope today is a good day for you.

Prfungi - (((Hugs))) to your Mum.

I did a bit more to my ripple blanket and the baby shorts (that are going to be trousers), last night - after having taken the neighbours' mad-as-a-hatter dog for a walk. DH had to hold the lead - the dog would have pulled me over! I don't think he's used to going out for walks (the dog, not my DH!), so everything was a novelty to him, including a lake full of noisy frogs that he found fascinating.

It looks like it will be a good day today, after yesterday's thunderstorms, so I hope to get my lettuces planted out. If it stays nice, I shall take my crochet outside for the afternoon.

I hope you all have a good day - looking at the weather for Hampshire (where I used to live), it looks like the UK will have a good day, too.

morning all, wow, i didn't realise how much i missed you all and the lovely chats we have throughout the day.

moiliere - we dont have a barn (yet) the house is brand new, but we do have 2 rather large vides sanitaire under the terraces. they are quite large and i have started listing the stuff (for this read junk) that is going to be stored in them. at the moment they dont have windows in them, but i am sure that that will change in time - as long as we dont try to turn them into habitable space, i am sure the mayor will be okay.

chalky - good luck and loads of good memories with the wedding. i only got married a few years ago, and i still remember the day like it was yesterday - it was wonderful, truly it was the happiest day of my life and i hope that you and yours enjoy it as much as we did. i will be thinking of you.

Lorna "hot needles" (sounds like something from M*A*S*H*) you are a star and a very kind lady - if there is ever anything we can do to lighten your load, let us know. it cant be easy.

k2tog - kathy and i decided a while ago that we live about 2 hours apart, and, as you know that is not really a great distance in france. i drive for about an hour and 10 minutes just to go to ikea (and then spend the same amount of time queueing to pay for my stuff).

its a lovely day here and so i am going to get myself started (just as soon as i have finished my coffee) and get the day going.

    morning everyone,

I have been lurking in the background, but have been feeling down in the dumps this past week or so and haven't felt up to posting but I have been keeping up with all your news and it has helped cheer me up.

Chalky - you must be so excited now, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your family that the sun shines, I'm sure it will. Hope you all have a lovely lovely day.:j

LC Wilson - What a beautiful crib pattern, I would love to have a bash at it, but I know it would never look as stunning as yours. You are an angel looking after your Mum the way you do.:A

Mrs moneypenny - so sorry to hear your sad news, have shed a tear and hugged my ds's tightly.

Maytaurus - Your posts always make me smile, thank you.:D

Well I'm off to finish my knitted square, which i will add to the others to make a dog blanket for LH, trying to use up all the odd bits of wool, so it will be quite colourful.

    Take care everyone.;)
