linedancerann - enjoy yourself tonight trippin the light fantastic ;)

Lorna - I am well impressed, your crib is sooo beautiful

    Shaz - have a lovely holiday x

Pam - hope your mum is feeling a bit better now

mrsmoneypenny - I was so sorry to read the sad news  I gave my friends little grandson an extra hug when they came this morning, and my DGS had lots of extra hugs too.

No crochet done yet today, havent long been back from DS2 DIL and DGS, he is coming along so well.
DIL took him for his last injections a few days ago, and he seems a bit under the weather and very pale, she said he was the same yesterday. I think it may just be reaction to the injections, as he is usually so lively.
Well we will see what tomorrow brings.

Now I am off to get my crochet out, I am adicted to this ripple blanket, its so big though, serves me right for making a starting chain of nearly 200

Hello, need some advice please?? I have done this teddy as below but the problem is he is about 12 inches tall, is that too tall because I read somewhere that the Teddies should be ten inches and no more - is that correct? Thanks! Donna.

I was going to post the actual picture but it would have done that funny thing were it really stretches the forum page so I put the link instead. :o

Thank you! He is the second one I have done, just typical, I did the first one and my little boy adored it and kept talking about "my teddy, my teddy" so he adopted the first one! :o Still it gave me practice I guess!

And my little boy is pestering me for a hat to go with his teddy's scarf too! :D

Hi - just posted this on loving hands - am in a mood to share

I've been making some really simple but very practical shawls based on this great pattern with a somewhat off-putting title.

    http://crochetme.com/patterns/wheelchair-wrap

Mum loves hers and I'm making another for her plus a couple for the Nursing home 'emergency cupboard'

    luv
    Pam :smileyhea

PS - the pattern is American terms - dc = uk treble.

    Evening all,

just to say thanks to all for your good wishes re Mum - she seemed a little better today - not too stressed about being back in hospital - I think she fancies her young doctor this time :rotfl:Her bed is next to the Nurses station so she feels in the midst of everything and I left her "knitting" which is always a good sign. She's not eating yet but is drinking so that's good. I told her yesterday that I would make her a shawl with some green in it & when I went today she asked me where it was  quick but not that quick:rolleyes: 'bless her

Thanks again - it is just so good to visit here - even just lurking as I have been.

    luv
