    Hi all.

Lovely pics and words, Maytaurus! You really do take time to find just the right one. I was so sorry to read that you've only had a few good days since Christmas. I hope today is a really good day for you. Thanks also for adding the 'don't forget' bit to all your posts!

Prfungi - that shawl pattern is really good; thanks so much for posting it. I shall make one for my Mum; she'll love it. Another thing to add to my list of 'things to make'!

Thanks to everyone for their updates so far - I'll do the main update on Monday morning.

The pair of baby shorts I was making needs to be unpicked - when I divided for the legs, I found they just didn't look right. I don't know whether to have another go or not! My ripple blanket is coming along well, though, like Pippa - I wish I hadn't started with so many stitches!

My Mum, who's normally knitting non-stop, is in the middle of moving house at the moment, but she's longing to get going again. She's even thinking of buying a PC so she can get online and join us here, which will be great.

Chalky - I don't expect you'll have time to read this today but I hope the day goes really really well! Will be thinking of you and your family, especially the happy couple!

    See you all later.

Don't forget that the forums are down this afternoon, for an upgrade. There's a reminder in red at the top of the page! They'll be down for five hour

Thought I'd better get my message in quick before we are cut off for the day :(

    maytaurus

Thank you so much for the hug. Mam has been really poorly the last few weeks, so it is much appreciated. And you have absolutely outdone yourself with the pics today!

    Chalky

Fingers crossed for a beautiful day for you and yours (though I'm sure it will be very special whatever the weather)

    Pam

Glad to hear your mum is doing a little better. It's a worry isn't it? Doc is almost certain my mam has infected gallstones and we are waiting for hospital scans. I thought they would be able to smash them up or dissolve them, but apparently not - it will mean an operation, and I'm terrified she is just not strong enough for that. I haven't even told her of the possibility yet because she's worked up enough just at the thought of the scan :(

    Shelley

Can't wait to see your crib finished too. I'm on doing outside too - going to trim this one with blue. Thinking of making a couple for honorary great-nieces for birthday - put a little doll in and they will love them.... hmmm.... need to eat more Carte D'or :rotfl:

Everyone who is feeling below par

Hope the sun shines for you today - that always helps to make me feel better.

    Hi all.

Lorna - of course you can join! Here is the link http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Woo...ec=group&slk=1

you need to apply and I have to 'approve' you. I'll keep checking and approve you as soon as I see your application. The instructions will be on the screen when you click into the link. Once you've joined, you can add photos and also see everyone else's photos. Most of the posting and chat is done here but the Wooligans is the ideal place for collecting photos.

Thanks for the updates - will add them all on Monday.

We had unexpected visitors for lunch and most of the afternoon, so not much done in the way of knitting and crochet. Hope to get some done this evening.
