:hello:Well Im really chuffed :oyou ladies liked the "adapted" bunting especially Shezmit wanting to put on preemiesUK (is this ok though as the pattern is taken from the Snow Cape skirt)

    Size 8 needles
    Cast on 40 st

    Bunting Body:
    Rows 1 & 2 - knit across (garter)
    Row 3 - K1 *k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last stitch , k1
Row 4 - knit across (garter)
Row 5 - knit across (garter)
    Row 6, k2, P36, k2
    Row 7 - k2, *k2tog (2 times), yfwd, k1 (4 times), k2tog (2 times) - repeat from * to last 2 st, k2
Row 8 - knit across (garter)
Row 9 - knit across (garter)

Repeat rows 7-9 (inclusive) for pattern until work measures 5" from cast on edge.

    Then k1, *k2tog, yo, - repeat from * to last st, k1
    Next row knit across (garter)

    Hood
Bind off 8 stitches at the beginning of next two rows (left with 24 stitches)
Knit in garter stitch until piece measures 8" from cast on edge.
Cast off and sew seam together to make hood shape

I hope this is right - have a good evening ladies f1 xxxx

ps i found a smilie that i should have used after the "waxing" post earlier in the week

Hi F1 tried the link but couldnt get the picture - also tried to paste the address to the search bar but unfortunately that didnt work either
Shezmit - parcel came today - will get them done asap
    hugs to everyone

foerget that I pressed refresh and it came up. It looks really good - was it hard to do?

sheyo - i had to keep editing post until I got it right - sorry -

no it was not hard - it has to be easy for me to do ha ha - but even though it is easy it looks really lovely and like it should be complicated (if you know what I mean) and it seems to knit up quick

hope you get on alright if you try the pattern xxx

Jaqui, it's beautiful, thank you for sharing! Well done!!

It's been a miserable day here with the weather, and after a very quiet day at work and a quick blitz around the house when I got home, I'm determined to put my feet up and do some knitting/crochet this evening, ahhhh bliss!

Hope everyone is well, hugs for those who need them!

I can't do very much at the moment because of my M.E.
If I can help at all in any way, I am very pleased to do so
I love coming on here because it's so full of positivity, everyone is so friendly & caring, which in itself means so much when there are so many things in the world today that are negative.
Making the things for charity makes me feel that I am at least doing something worthwhile, as I have had to give up all the things I did before, even the knitting is too much now, which is why I started doing more crochet and I have to say I think I may even like it a little more than knitting
    :j  :j :rotfl:
giveThanks300.gifto mioliere once again for starting the thread :j:j:j

The couple who run our village post office had a baby boy on my birthday ( the date & sex both predicted by me & they were really surprised esp as he was a week overdue-typical male :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
So I am doing a crochet baby blanket, jacket, hat, booties etc for them at the moment ( in shades of blue of course ) which are nearly all done now, so I will be getting back to the charity things shortly
    Hugs to all :A

hi, another question from me! I have done one baby bunting and am in the process of doing the second.

Should I sew the hood seam together now or are they better sent flat and sewn together on arrival??

p.s. I love the bunting design F1widow! Will give that one a try next.

I bought it a while ago, there are two shades of pink and two shades of blue - one is a royal blue colour however so would that be ok?
