    Doing my second boob.....
It's going OK - they really aren't as scary as I thought unless you take into account the bonkers colours I'm using!

Chalky, I agree with you about freecycle - I got 3 bin bags of wool (2 baby type and 1 for doggies) a few weeks ago. biggest problem is deciding which colour to use for which project !!!!! I`m alternating between a baby blanket and a doggy one - with buntings etc when I get fed up with the big things.

  • Hi there everyone.

I am hoping to get back to a bit of knitting and was looking at Loving Hands Summer Challenges. It mentions cardigans and tank tops as summer items for children - I take it waistcoats would also be okay (as I had a hunt through my stash of patterns and found several waistcoat patterns!). I also have some cotton DK to use up which would suit summer items.

Are there any preferences for age groups?

Third boob finished and I think I'm all boobed out for now - they made my hands ache after so long hooking instead of knitting! Won't stuff this one. Not sure what I'm going to do next, but I'll go back to boobs again later.
Eeyore, some people have said that they are going to do older kids sizes as so much is for babies and littlies but I think any size would be great.

Re;’ my son just turned 5 last month he's only been talking for about a year now, ds1 is nearly 7 and he's under assessment for autism too although we think he has aspergers which is not as severe.

A friend of mine adopted a boy & a girl who both have Down’s syndrome, the youngest, the little boy has just celebrated his 8th birthday but has only been walking for about 2 yrs & also has several other problems including autism, he is such a happy little soul though & always has a smile & when he laughs you can’t help but laugh with him.
I wish you all the very best.
