Hello all - dont know how you manage to knit at the rate that you do - its incredible. I am almost ashamed of my minimal contributions. However, on the bright side a box of knitted squares will be on its way to the Funsani Blanket Project (Zambia) this weekend. And this years squares will be donated to Knitting for Africa which looks to donated blankets (and squares) to South African Aids orphans. Please can you write me up for 6 squares so far this year.
Have a lovely day.

Hi all and thanks for all the updates. I shall update first thing in the morning from now on; it seems to be the best uninterrupted time for me in my house!
DPixie - Tooties is right about how much anyone can knit, so please don't worry that you are not doing enough! You have done yourself proud with your squares, anyway, so don't be too hard on yourself!
I don't seem to get done anywhere near as much as anyone else but, sadly, I have to fit it in with my own writing work as well as my DH's business admin and, this weekend, visitors. I am planning a work-free day tomorrow so I hope to get something substantial done.
Shelley - your next parcel has arrived. I should be able to concentrate a bit more on them now and I shall alternate between them and knitting something for Chalky's appeal.
Mrs Moneypenny - enjoy the meeting tonight! It's years since I had to do that with my two boys!
DH has had the morning off, which has hindered me somewhat, as men do! I also have my DGD here this afternoon from after school until 6pm - I have an hour now so I shall sit down with Shelley's Teds and Chicks!
See you later.

Hello Everyone
What a lot of knitting everyone is doing - wow! Have decided I must do less lurking on this and other threads and more actual knitting - besides lurking is making me stay up too late!
Have just finished a bunting and I'm almost certain I've followed the instructions correctly - are they supposed to be that tiny? It's about 71/2 inches across the bottom and about 8" in length. Am aiming to get my bits in the post before the weekend.
It's lovely to see so many fellow newbies joining. I'd also like to say THANKYOU (yes, I meant to shout!) to all the original members for being so welcoming and helpful. I love this thread, it's like putting my slippers on and makes me happy!0
