    HELP PLEASE!

I saw a site once which had the baby cribs (ice cream tub ones) with satin coverings, but I can't find the link.

A friend who doesn't knit would like to have a go at sewing one.

Does anyone have an inkling where I can find it please?

Hi Pam - and yes, it finally worked. Trouble is, for some daft reason, I can't see the lines to click on with my PC, Must have a word with someone on the techie forum as I can't keep on missing such information. Glad you answered and I kept clicking all over the page til I came across the listings.

Thanks a lot Pam, much appreciated. Sue

    Hi everyone,

My family always conflicted over starting a line, MIL always said to K the first stitch, SIL always said to slip it. Which is best when I'm doing either ribbing or the main part of a cardi/jumper or anything else, which makes for a better edging? Also, on a purl line or stitch (ribbing) what's best then K or Pu or ????

    Thanks a lot everyone.

Aaargh  isn`t it annoying when you can`t find something when you want it. I saw these beautiful little cribs too and for the life of me I can`t find them. I`ll keep looking though and give you a shout if I see them.

WOW! - did you see this , PurpleTeddyBear ? One day, we won't be knee deep in blurp and nappies (yes, I know we'll miss it, and it does go very fast, but isn't it a lovely thought that unfettered knitting may one day be possible?)
I also have a 6month old in real nappies and I really really hope your washing machine is feeling better soon (and you too, craftlady )
No knitting managed for days, it's been one of those weeks, but the crochet blanket is coming along slowly but steadily.
So, all I have to update is one lonely little hat! - hardly merits an
Official Weekly Update - sob! but I'll post one anyway:

Mioliere - please update me with one hat - thanks, and hope you've had a refreshing snooze in your packing case....
Have a good weekend everyone (especially you, s michaels - enjoy your knitting!)

  • Hi Ginny

Washing machine is all fixed....apparantly a belt or something had come off, so it's all systems go and all back to normal nappies (and hopefully rid of the nappy rash that came with the disposables).

Am v lucky in that DD (6 months) and DS (4) both sleep really well (touch wood), and both were in bed, asleep for 6.30 tonight, so I've managed to finish the lemon blanket (it's hoooge...have yet to measure it) and am now thinking about what to start next.

Havng a messy day with DS tomorrow, so baking and plastermaking stuff will be the order of the day whilst DH takes DD shopping.

    Happy clicking,

    Dawn x
