  • I've just been looking on e-bay and wondered if anyone had used it to buy wool and if so was it OK? I would rather go to a shop but not many in my area.

    Thanks

I have used e-bay to buy wool but only the brands that I know every thing was fine it arrived quickly and was as it said it was but be careful sometimes it is cheaper to buy it from a shop

  • Thanks for that Lucie. Think I might just order from Kemps or similar or wait till I get a chance to visit the nearest wool shop. I've got plenty of stash to use first if I'm honest, but like everyone else just can't resist buying more!! My family call our spare room "the woolshop" cos that's where its all hidden!

HI all - just back for another break. I am well and truly fed up with all this packing. Where does all this stuff come from? I'm sure we didn't have as much when we moved in! Last count was 8 boxes (large) of books; I've just packed another two boxes and DH is seriously wondering whether I'll live long enough to read them all.

Anyway, I'm so sorry I'm not joining in with you all much at the moment. All I want to do is knit, knit and knit! I'm going to try and do some tonight - I say that every night lately, but it doesn't seem to happen.

Well, I'd better love you and leave you again - DH has just made up another empty box, so I'd better help to fill it (climb in and go to sleep in it, more like!).

    See you all later.

  • s-michaels Just wait to you get really confident and knit yourself a really nice designer piece that they all drool over. They won't be so nasty then....They'll all be knocking at your door begging you to knit for them. At that point say NO very sweetly but offer to teach them. Its just jealously really. People get very jealous of others who can create things. As my Dad used to say, "get your sloping shoulders on and let it all run off"

Good luck and here's to some fabulous designer peices:beer:
