Morning All, I'm still playing catch up with this thread - yep it's a newbie alert - and I haven't looked at all the pattern links, so apologies if anyone has already posted these but I thought they were really cute when I saw them
(fingers x'd I can figure out how to stick a piccy in with this)

Nope I can't figure out how to do it, sorry I'll just stick the link in for the patterns..

I thought the Easter Chick and the Bunny were really cute, and they look like they are quick and easy to knit, the body holds a creme egg.

The pdf has been put together by Bobath Childrens Therapy Centre in Wales which works with chilldren with Cerebral Palsy, unfortunately I only bookmarked the pdf and I can't remember which site I originally found the information on...

HI Ticking over, Lovely patterns sooooo! cute.. I notice the patterns are copyright, so I assume that we would need to send them to the Centre ?

Hi everyone, as I had 10 mins I thought I'd 'phone the Centre & ask about the patterns copyright. They have asked that the patterns only be used for Bobath fundraising and would love to receive the end results to sell on.

As Cerebral Palsy is often linked to preemie babies I think the Centre would sit well on our list of causes to support.

I am emailing Sarah (the designer) a link to this thread so she can have a look at some of the many free patterns via the links here.

Hope you don't mind my interferance.

    regards

PSSO - thanks for the link to that pattern. It looks really cute!

Welcome to Ticking over - glad you have joined us! You may have read earlier posts and realised that I am soon to leave these shores and move to France. I leave on 21st March and get back online in France, hopefully, on 26th. I'll try and keep up with the thread during the next two weeks (which are going to be horrid while we pack and get organised!) but my posts will get more and more sporadic until we are fully installed in our new home. Thanks for the Bobath link - I couldn't open the PDF for some reason, but I will ask my son to look at my PC when I see him tomorrow. He should know why!

Prfungi - you're not interfering! It's great to find new causes and Cerebal Palsy is really worthy.

Well, off to do some more sorting out. I'll try and do the update a bit later - there's a lot going on here at the moment, so I may do it this evening!

Good afternoon, well I have been out shopping all morning for shoes and a bag to go with my outfit for my son's wedding in May now who thought it would be a good ideal to put hobbycraft in the mall I have spent hours looking at wool and have all so spent a small fortune on wool so I think that now my feet are killing me I might have a sit down with my feet up, a cup of tea and a pair of needles is just what the DR ordered

    Hi Kathy,

I`m afraid I can`t take the credit for that link, it was in Maytaurus`s post this morning ( I didn`t get the `quote` bit right, I`m still learning) - she called it a bunny in her post and I was just being a bit cheeky.;)

I`m not as good as Maytaurus at finding gorgeous things to knit..............maybe one day, if I practice really hard. Will you take on an apprentice Maytaurus ?

chalky 75 - what is a teddy bag please ?

psso - the teddy bags are mentioned on the teddies for tragedy site. They like to have bags to put the teds in for the children. My relationship with (mum's) sewing machine is a bit rocky so have never done any. Getting a bit bored with a baby blanket I'm doing at the mo - must do so more so I can get on with something else!
Re the earlier post about OECS, I wonder if they've considered that people may not be able to afford to post huge grown up persons completed blankets? Presumably it would weigh quite a lot? Best stick to little Aaron squares!
Kathy, I'm keeping a mental count ready for the weekend which is being helped by the larger (for me!) baby blanket project. Will prob have to resort to writing it down at some point :rotfl: . Hope the packing/unpacking is going OK for all those who are moving.
