oh dear, i`m slowly losing the will to live:o i just wrote a long rambling plea for help with patterns then discovered that i wasn`t logged in:eek:
ok here goes again, i`ll try to shorten it this time!
if anyone has done these patterns can you help me make sense:confused:
micro preemie little princess burial gown/bunting.
pattern row says k2tog,YOacross, what happens at end of row? and how do i do YO? i can do y/fwd and yrn but only do y/o for a pearl row!
next; knit angel wrap by aunt B,. i`m having trouble with wings,
    row 8 says k2.p2tog,k2( 14 sts)
found another version that says k2 p11 k2 which makes more sense but then no of sts is wrong.
last but not least i made a 10 min preemie hat which would just about fit a barbie doll!
hope someone knows what i`m on about and will take pity on me:o

I did this one last week and had the same problem - I got round it by adapting it to - k2, p5 p2tog, p to last 2 st, k2. this give you 14 sts left. Seems to look OK when it`s stitched up, there`s another row which is wrong as well but I can`t remember which one it is at the moment !

Hi SGT - whereabouts in Spain are you? I have a place near Moraira, Costa Blanca.
(Cumbre del Sol) Lovely sea view from the bedroom - I miss.....................

    regards
    Pam

Hi Pam, It's on the Costa del Sol, Estepona. We're the same, lovely sea view from the bedroom window. I really must get things sorted here, but it's trying to decide what stuff to take what to get rid of & I'm one of these people who keeps things, 'Just in case'!! I'll get there eventually.

Hi all - thanks, SGT and Maytaurus, for saying I do an excellent job! Not so excellent today, though, because I've overslept! I'll come back later this morning, hopefully.

    Hope everyone is well!

Maytaurus - I've just seen all those links you've posted about moving! You are such a star, I could do with you here right now, and when we actually move! Thank you so much - I'll have a read of them all later.

Hi all - I've had a bad start to the morning with oversleeping so I won't be able to update until later today. When I get that done, I'll update again next Sunday - I hope updating once a week will work out, and that I don't get the figures wrong. If it doesn't, I'll go back to updating daily, but probably not until a couple of weeks after I've moved. I'd be really really grateful if you would all keep your own tallies until I get back into some sort of routine. I don't want to lose the momentum of this thread, and would hate to get someone's totals badly wrong!

I feel very neglectful about all this because I can't give it the time it deserves at the moment, plus I'm not making very much at all - I'm just sticking to crocheting tiny hats and booties because they don't take long. I need to sort them out and get them sent to Shelley (along with a cheque for sponsoring her bungee jump) so I'll try very hard to get that done over the next few days.

I absolutely hate moving house and, because we're moving countries, there is so much more to think about! I'm longing to get settled in and back to 'normal' (I know you don't like normal, Maytaurus, but it's long been an ambition of mine to find myself in that position!). I just want to sit knitting and crocheting with a serene contented look on my face, but I fear that's a long way off at the moment.

Thank you all for what you are doing for this thread - I love being part of it, and I think you are all wonderful!

    Have a great day!

I finally finished my square alst night, but I don't think it's any good for anyone. I did the 40 stiches and it's come out at about 6".

I think i knit to tight as I managed to snap a small needle last night as well lol

    Will keep trying though
