Hi Aeshna - I'm not sure what day to have the updates - probably the weekend would be better for most people, especially if they work or have children at school and have busy days. If everyone is happy with that, you could all add your updates over the weekend and I'll do my bit on a Sunday afternoon. I'll wait and see what everyone thinks.

Ive just completed an ikea bag full of ironing - just putting it away, bath and then knitting yipppeeee!!! /quote]
I just popped in to update my totals and now I feel sooooo bad - I`ve got a huge pile of ironing waiting for attention.......but it can wait a bit longer I suppose.
Kathy, can you add 3 baby hats, 3 IS hats, 4 buntings, 2 angel wraps and a baby cardie please.
re. weekly updates - sounds like a good idea to me and would be less work for Kathy every day. As you can see I`ve had a busy week or so but have to fight for computer time when Dd3 is at home - which is most of the time just now as she has left college and is looking for a job.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

You should do what I do...... don't iron!!
Life is far too short to waste time doing something as horrid as ironing! Especially when you could be knitting instead!!
Please update me with one baby gown & hat please Kathy!

Good morning all and thanks for your latest totals - update in my next post, which I'll do after this one!
The hand I fell on is much better now but has a very colourful bruise on the inside of my wrist and halfway up my arm! It's still difficult to do certain things (like turning taps on and off, that sort of thing), but I know it's getting better. I tried to do some knitting last night and that hurt, then I tried some crochet and managed one bootie before that also hurt, and then I just gave up and dozed off! Will try again tonight.
All this talk about ironing is making me feel queasy. It's a job I hate and, because of all the packing, I haven't done any for over a week. I just know I'll have a huge pile of it once we've moved, but I have a cunning plan! Of course, I'll be taking my iron and ironing board from here, but - and this is the cunning bit - I also have an iron and ironing board in France, and I've already told DH we're having an ironing marathon in our first week there! We can set up at each end of the dining room and, if I sort out the two different piles, I can make sure I get the easy stuff! Lol! He's actually very good at ironing after all the training he had in his RAF days, so I might as well make use of it.
Anyway, enough of that. I packed all my wool - apart from the stuff I'm trying to work on until we leave - and it filled two huge packing boxes. I shall be buying some more before we go, but that will get squeezed into my box of fabrics and sewing bits. I haven't started packing all the patterns yet, so that's another job.
Well, I'd better get on with the update. If everyone's happy about it, I'll update again next Sunday, but please feel free to post your latest items daily (and just a post entitled 'Total Items for the Week' next Saturday or Sunday - I'll update in the evening probably). I won't be updating the following Sunday because I'll have just arrived in France and won't be online until the Thursday (26th, as long as the connection goes smoothly!), so I'll do a double update the following Sunday. I hope that all makes sense.
Have a great Sunday, everyone!

if someone can write that angel pattern out for 2 needles i would love to give it a go.[/quote]
Shelley - I've studied the pattern and it looks like you can just follow the instructions given, but on two needles, not three. Just ignore the 'Place 3 st on needles 1, 2 & 3' on page 1). The only difference is that you will have a seam to sew up at the end, whereas, with the three-needle way, you won't have a seam at all. The person who made up the pattern probably made it for three needles because the angel is tiny, and would look neater without a seam.
