I'm going to try to do another couple of buntings today and get what I have shipped off to Shelley (I'm sure I said that earlier in the week, but I'm told I'll even be late for my own funeral!!!!).

Sat and did a little hat for my the new baby in my life who arrived yesterday morning, just need to find a pattern for easy 2 needle bootees to match. I should have a couple of days on my side before I see him, but as usual I'm trying to cram everything in at the last minute!!

    Have a good Sunday everyone!

I'm knitting the baby blanket I started in Mock Cable stitch - about halfway through - I think its looking good. I know I promised some buntings, but have a proxy this week - my friend has finished 5 since Thursday - she is now starting a gown, so I don't feel too guilty.

    luv

Good afternoon ladies just having a break from packing, if I ever see bubble wrap again it will be too soon. Hope your packing is going ok Mioliere, I'mfinding that mine is definately interferring with the knitting and that is not good!! Good idea about the weekly updates, hopefully that will make it easier for you, if it doesn't you must let us know because we appreciate what an excellent job you do. :A

Maytaurus, I am so pleased you are back, you make my day with the pictures that you find, I really missed you. (In fact I know we all missed you). Look after yourself. :A

Mrs-Moneypenny, if you would like to pm me with your address I have 2 hedgehogs that I will send you for your son's choirboy fund raising. If you let me know the date of the event, I will see if I can get some more knitted for you.

Shezmit, I have I or 2 things to complete for you, when I send them to you I will include a £5 cheque for your bungee jump.

Hugs, to anyone who needs them & enjoy your knitting & crocheting. :A

    Hi everyone.
Mioliere I have just been catching up with the thread and I am so sorry you have hurt your arm. Hope the improvement continues - you could well do without being hindered now.
Mishaps must be catching I stupidly moved a big pot the other day and have been feeling as stiff as a board in my lowere back since-- it is so frustrating isn't it. I think I will have to give in and take a tablet as it is making me feel really miserable. Maybe a hot water bottle would be better. Alright enough moaning.

Have decided to have a change so have had a go at the trauma toys for the Loving hands site and this is what I have achieved so far !!!

    Thank you

evening ladies - this will be my last post for a while as i am off to france tomorrow and will be without electricity (at least until wednesday), phone (and therefore broadband) and any mod cons (like furniture).

i will update my totals when i return - yes i have packed 4 balls of wool in order to make some buntings - hopefully i will have knitted up all of the wool before i return.

hope everyone is feeling better soon - kathy, i am sure that i will have a chance to say "so long" before you leave.

    have a lovely evening all.

Hi I use to knit years ago when my son didn't think that it was uncool to wear hand made, then two years ago a friend told me about the shoe box appeal so started again with hats, mittens etc but this year I have made more but have also made premie clothes, burial gowns and buntings but no ideal where to send them so this thread has been very useful and I check in every day to see who has made what. keep up the good work
    love Lose
