Maytaurus - thanks, they're all lovely, aren't they? I can see me adding to my 'must do' list for this year! Thanks again.

  • Hi All - will have to put preemie things on hold for a week. I wasn't sure how all this year's HM pressies would be received but had a lovely thank you card from DD2 for all the hard work, and DD1 has just put an order in for a tea cosy - birthday next week! Just pleased that all was received in the spirit it was given - not thought of as being a tight whatsit! Just shows, it can be a positive thing to have no job or money, eh? Anyway, back to the preemies a.s.a.p.

    Love to all,

Hi Chrisbethany - that's great news, getting an order for a tea cosy; your knitting must be very good! Don't worry about the charity knitting - I've always said that I would prefer people to fit it in with their own lives and certainly not to feel obliged to do it. Let's face it, we all have busy lives what with families and work, and they have to come first or the world would grind to a halt! Let's hope you get some more orders! It would be great if you could post a photo of the finished tea cosy, either on here or on our Yahoo group (link in the very first post), if that's OK with you?

    Hi Kathy
Can you update me with 1 CARDI please.
I started a baby blanket last night, it will probably take a while to finish so I will do other things as well.

The figures are looking good already arent they? we seem to have got off to a flying start, I think its wonderful just how many lovely people are willing to give of their free time to help others in need.:A

I went to see my friend Jo today, and was so pleased she had thought of me, and had saved a ball of wool that her friend had left over. She said she will tell all her friends anytime they have any wool spare, I would be most grateful and it will be put to good use, isnt that nice of her.
I must just say a big Thank you Maytaurus for all your links :T
I love the bunny and the duckling I must have a go at them.

Good morning, all! Let's just see if I can update without making any mistakes! It's early in the morning but I've had two cuppas to get my brain functioning! Thanks for all your latest items. I'm sorry to say that I only have half a bunting done since my last update (but one ted sewn up, Shezmit!) Although I have guests coming later today until tomorrow, I can hopefully carry on knitting and sewing up in their company - they're used to it when they visit!

Anyway, I hope you are all well and coping with the cold.
