I'm still rubbish at slicing and I'm now debating a left handed bread knife to compliment my Evenslice. Does of the left hand gang own a left-handed knife and what are your thoughts please?
The Evenslice looks like a nightmare to me, even if its reversible for left handed use.
I have several bread knives (wide serrations on the blade, none of which are left handed.
The only secret is let the knife do the work, rather than put any pressure on the knife and cut from a position that keeps your hand at 90 degrees to the loaf.
Day old bread is easier to cut than fresh from the oven - its worth picking up some seriously reduced to clear bakery bread for practice (you can always make bread pudding or turn it into bread crumbs)
