The Bellagio FountainsI have never read a bad word about Maggiano's and yet we had one of our worst meal in Vegas there. Hubby had a chicken dish that wasn't great and I had a so called half portion of pasta, something like Chicken Alfredo, which was huge but totally bland and tasteless.
There are too many good places to eat to risk going back.
Another place we hated was Kahunaville. Hubby's chicken was actually chicken roll........ Urgh!0 -
The Bellagio FountainsThey are all suites.
Since last year (i think) they have had some room only options as well. Its called the DLX room:
THEdeluxe room is styled identically to THEsuite, just without the Suite. Upscale and contemporary with deep tones and rich woods, this guest room is perfect for those that want to experience all that THEhotel offers, but only need a guest room and not a suite.
Not sure why anyone would book to stay in one as its only usually $20 a night cheaper than the suite:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
The hotel is where we are staying in early sept. were you in a room or a suite?. Also plenty of pics please :j:j:j
there are some pics of the suite towards the end of this photo gallery:

We were in there for 6 nights, for a total cost of $673. We had booked a THEsuite but when we checked in we asked if it was possible for a strip view room. The girl on the desk tapped a few buttons on the PC and said we can have 'a slight upgrade' and put us in a corner suite on the 29th floor which was in fact a V suite, happy days!!!0 -

We loved Kahunaville when they were on restaurant.com - every time we went we had the same thing though - I had the crab cakes and hubby had the coconut shrimp...both were awesome every time. We'd still go if they hadn't dropped out of restaurant.com.
But yeah, if we ordered chicken and got chicken roll we'd be most displeased.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I has chicken pesto pasta at Maggianos last trip and it was lovely. Also got some lemon cookies which we scoffed a few hours later....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
Hi
My vegas wedding is fast approaching - panicing slightly!!
Im looking to buy something for my soon to be Mother and Father-in-law as a gift for helping with planning our wedding. Basically something instead of the usual flowers and hipflask/cufflinks type combo.
Any ideas? Im thinking maybe ticket for a show/gift voucher for meal - budget wise im thinking about 100-150dollars...any suggestions for something in that range?
Thanks0 -

I used to think that TheHotel was the best room I had in Vegas but seeing those pics from WHD the place is starting to look a bit tired. Makes my opinion of the Encore being the top now more realistic. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
We getting married next year and just wondering if anyone has got married in The Signature?
We have looked at loads of hotels and this one always gets highly recomended0 -
Stoneman, what gives you that impression? The only things i could point out that were slight negatives was that the 2 plasmas had been well used and the in built tv speakers had taken a helluva pounding and that the carpet hadnt been hoovered before our arrival.
Apart from that I thought the place was spot on, clean, tidy and very presentable and one of the best places Ive stayed in and would definately stay there again.0 -
Can anyone tell me if the $20 at check in works at Paris or if it's worth it? Two weeks and we are off hubby says he will give it a go but I am a bit nervous, don't want to make fools of ourselves! Took your advice and booked second section for CDC LOVE for all four of us, with smartervegas on the 40% deal. Looking at the maps Paris is not too far away from Mirage?0
