I am pig sick. I just checked Travel Supermarket for flight and thought I'd found a right bargain. £321 with a company called Major Travel flying with KLM/NWA, compared with the next cheapest at £443.

Clicked through to the company and still got the same price, entered my details, clicked and noticed the price had jumped to £403 each. Still the cheapest, but no way would I book with them for trying to mislead.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.
On the same theme, netflights gives you a price that they say includes all fees and taxes, then just before you book they add in £3 each for an insurance against the airline going bust with no way of opting out of it. My question is how good that insurance is if netflights goes bust, not a lot is my guess.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Yes I noticed that too, but most companies are adding on £1 to cover ATOL. If you're paying for insurance then the least they could do is give you a copy of the policy to download.

Re Netflights going bust, I would think (hope) that seeing as the flight is ticketed by e-ticket as soon as it is booked then you should be OK.

    Hey,

I just wandered if anyone knew whether Circus Circus charged a nightly resort fee? And if so, what it was priced at?

    Thanks in advance

Tips are keep reading and as you find stuff you think you'd like plot where on the strip (or off the strip) it is and attempt to not be going from one end to the other to get to different things. Strip traffic is horrendous.. Remember all the casinos give free drinks (plus tip of course) so unless the driver is tee-total you may not want to be using the car all the time. Getting pulled for a DUI will mean a hotel night somewhere less nice than the IP !
Personally I'd never bother with a car on the Strip and just use it for trips "out". For me it's too much hassle and I've always used a mix of Deuce, walking and taxis and never missed a car. All the tours will pick you up from your hotel anyway.
Looks like you're there for a holiday weekend so it will be busy. If you have plans to eat at certain resturants or see particular shows I'd advise pre-booking

    Thanks Duchy,

we have started a list but it always helps to have peoples personal experience when it is the first trip.

Car will only be for trips out of the area, I dont drink while driving here in the UK and dont intend to start in LV........lol. I always feel that while driving you miss being able to look and enjoy the scenery(too busy driving)

Looking forward to exploring the local area on foot/duece etc

Bill, please dont take this the wrong way but are you certain you want to stay at IP ?

Yes its location is excellent, but its a little on the ' tired ' side in my opinion.

Far, far better properties and possibly for not much more money either.
