looking at hiring a ferrari to drive up to the chapel in for my wedding so would only need it for an hour or two
I picked up the price list from the place at Hawaiian Marketplace yesterday, but it's not in my bag so I don't know what I've done with it.
It's 5.50am and I've been awake since the back of 3 with the hangover from hell after several Chardonnays and umpteen paralyzers, all on an empty stomach and boy am I suffering.
Had a good day yesterday and a great night until it all went horribly wrong. Will update my blog when I feel a bit better.
Thanks for the TR ferf. Off to read it when I finish here.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsI used a restaurant.com cert at Tacone on Friday night no problem and will be using one for Casa di Amore tonight.
I did have one for Andre's at the Monte Carlo that I bought 08.08.08 when I think it was 90% off. However I got an email from r.com to say that they were no longer participating (they had actually closed at that time) with a link to exchange it for another one.0 -

Have you looked at this site:
http://www.dreamcarrentals.com/rates.php
It seems to be a min rental of 5 hours and insurance isn't included in the price :starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

yes ive looked at their site. Would love to have 5 hours in a ferrari but i really only need one to drive from the luxor up to the chapel of flowers which is near the stratosphere.
So in a ferrari, and ignoring traffic lights i think id only need it for about 5 minutes :cool:0 -
Well, back home safe and sound after a fantastic week in Vegas. So jealous now of everyone going there soon. Will be back with a proper report, need some sleep for now ...........0

Judging by the Strip traffic most of the time, 5 hours should be about right

Hertz have got a sale on at the moment -- booked yesterday for 4 days in vegas in intermediate car for £82 and cheapest was around £76. this is for october. We are driving to the Williams and doing the grand canyon railway package for 3 nights (one in grand canyon) as well as train travel on old mining railway and meals on two of the days for a total of around $950 for two people. hope this helps.
Avis prices look quite affordable, 4 days in July around £74, that is the cheapest car as we don't mind too much about the sizeMFW 2025 No. 7 £2731.07/£2700

The Bellagio FountainsHi dawnylou
Its a real possibility - but we havent yet even discussed it with family etc - though, if I am honest - its probably the only way we will be able to afford to get hitched AND have a honeymoon and we both ADORE Vegas - so it seems like the perfect solution to me!!! My best friend got wed there three years ago (Star Trek theme) and whilst thats great for her I would prefer something a little more traditional - the Chapel of Flowers sounds really nice - I am presuming that you dont have to book years in advance like in the UK?!!! My friend booked their Star Trek wedding a few months in advance, got a license in Vegas the day before and were hitched the day after.
Any helpful tips/advice from your wedding would be greatfully received - though we wont be "doing to deed" till next June/July :T (all being well).
The jet lag wins every time doesnt it? - Its almost like being drugged!!
It took me over a week to get back to normal last time - I kept falling asleep around 6pm till 9pm then felt wide awake at normal bed time. Good luck!!!
Steff;)
Yeah the chapel is truly delightful. If we were to do it all over again we would opt for the same place!!
We only booked a few months beforehand but I doubt you really need to even book that far ahead if you are flexible it's just we wanted a very specific date (our 10 year anniversary!)
The staff make everything so easy for you!
We are finally over the jet lag though thank goodness!! lol
Btw I think someone asked for pics?
