The Bellagio FountainsBook a table at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris hotel, Slip a $10 to the maitre d and get a front table outside over looking the pavement and the strip traffic .
I could be wrong but getting a table outside is just a matter of going to the left hand queue and being given a buzzer, first come first served. As for getting a front table that is luck of the draw as well. As soon as a table empties it is occupied by the next in line, so you could get one around the corner. Never heard of tipping the maitre'd. As I say I could be wrong but I thought I knew of all the bribes to be had in Vegas, but nice to learn a new one.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
The Bellagio Fountainstrets, the link "here" doesn't do anything
Meatloaf at CCF:T:T
BTW if you go during the day ask for the lunch portion of any of the mains, it will cost about $3-£5 less and you won't notice the difference in sizeThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. The Bellagio FountainsAs you're staying in Wynn, you may also want to check out the Grand Lux Cafe next door at Palazzo. Its part of the same chain as CF and may be a handier location for you.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

The Bellagio FountainsIt never takes us long to get back to food :rotfl:
Cheesecake Factory, Grand Luxe Cafe, Maggianos. I love all 3!The chicken pesto pasta at Maggianos is particularly great.
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

I agree - no need to book at all if you want the patio since it's first come, first served...but good to know if a tip can help get a good table out on the patio.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsRemember that when you play a multi-line slot your stake is the number of lines you've chosen (we always play all lines) times the number of credits per line you are playing times the value of each credit...so if you have a 20-line $0.01 machine it will cost you $0.20 to play 1 credit on all lines...but you can play 2 credits per line for $0.40, 3 for 4 $0.60 and so on. Watch out for the max-bet button as in some cases it can be $5 or more. Also watch out that you know the denomination of the machine - is it $0.01, $0.02, $0.05, etc...some allow you to change the denomination...my MIL was playing a 20-line machine set at $0.05 - she thought it was $0.01...so rather than playing $0.60 per spin (20*3*.01) she was playing $3 a spin (20*3*.05) - she did get lucky and got a good win but learned a lesson.
Tony hit Max Bet on a Hexbreaker once. It cost him $13!!!! He was not happy. He never puts $20 in the machines anymore, he just does $5 at a time so it can't happen again.

Mind my most expensive "free drink" was $40. That's the amount I lost on VP while waiting for my Miller Lite.:mad:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. The Bellagio FountainsI find drinks really expensive in Vegas. A glass of wine is around $9-13, but I have seen one at $20. A mixed drink is around $13 and a beer $4-6.0
