We have ate at several Cheescake Factorys across USA , and we always try to eat there when we visit Las Vegas .
we like the nice , relaxed surroundings , the Friendly staff and of course the great food .
it can be a tad hard to find the place as it is located deep inside the Forum Shopping Mall , but don't worry there are plenty of Maps of the Mall dotted around inside .
I Have never seen the place quite ( surely a good sign ) and have had to wait 10 mins for a table for 2 before , so if you are large group it might be an idea to secure a reservation.
The thing i like most about the food is the Choice . you can get Pasta , Salads , grilled meats , Steak , Seafood , Sandwiches or even Pizza for main courses . if you have a some fussy eaters in your group you should be okay for something for everyone here.
be warned the portions are typical american sized ( i.e BIG !!) so if you order a starter you might find you are too stuffed for the place's Star billing ... Yep Cheesecake . ( don't worry though cause you can take your cheesecake order home to eat later)
There are 30 different Cheesecakes to choose from and everyone we have had the pleasure of trying has been heavenly . However do not exclude what a lot of people think is the restaurants best kept secret The Warm Apple Crisp .
If you are a 1st time visitor to Las Vegas and looking for a good safe pick for your first meal out, then this is where i would advise.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
As I mentioned in the Vegas forum a good tip is to ask for the lunch portion of any of the mains during the daytime. I don't think it is listed on the menu but last time we were there our server brought our check and it was $5 less than planned. I asked why and she said that she ordered the lunch portion for me. I have had the meatloaf there 4 times and I didn't notice the difference in size.
I must say even though I love the food I really don't like the location in the Forum shops. It is always so cold and dim.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
We eaten at the Cheesecake Factory in Vegas a couple of times. After warnings that the portions were huge we chose Steak Diane to share. It came with mash and we ordered a side of fried for hubby.
When it came there were 8 steak medallions so definitely enough for two.
There is a huge variety of cheesecakes which are really nice, but I didn't find them as fantastic as others have said.
I would definitely recommend it for a meal.0 -
I was at the cheesecake factory in Vegas a few weeks ago, a huge variety of food on the menu. I was there by myself and was offered a place at the bar but opted to wait for a table, the wait was 20 minutes but it was right in the middle of the evening meal slot. I did have a starter and a main course knowing I wouldn't have room for cheesecake after but as Trets said you can have it to go, i'm a growing lad (with a fridge in the room) so I took two pieces!! Its the only place I visited this year that I visited on my last trip and I always look for one whenever i'm in the States, it may be a chain restaurant but the wide choice of menu keeps pulling me back in.

I had my 30th birthday supper in the Vegas Cheesecake Factory :j
Adore the food there (went to the one in SF on the same trip too, and have been to 2 in Boston as well).
They refuse to cross the water and open over here , so I'm seriously considering opening something very very similar myself:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

Althtough I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory in Vegas, I've been to the one in LA and referring to trets77's post, I tried to reserve a table as it's always really busy... However, I was told they don't do reservations
So you have to just turn up and hope for the best!0 -
As a flight attendant, I always go to the cheesecake factory ! Love love it
as someone said, if you are looking for a safe and easy menu on your first night, or when you have just landed its great. something for everyone and when there are around 10 of you like when us hosties go out, there are never any hissy fits lol.
sometimes it can be hard to cater for a big group, so whats great and that has not been mentioned is that the bar is great. fab cocktails and good portions, So I never mind sitting at the bar while waiting for a table (hic).
With the Vegas one, I would only look out for thing. Good or bad, it's right next to the moving statues in the mall. If your sat outside then these are REALLY loud.
Im all hungry now.
BANG BANG CHICKEN !!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
lol

We ate at the Caesars Cheesecake Factory in 2007 and it was fabulous. We didn't book but 8 of us were seated within 20 minutes and the service was excellent throughout.
No quibbles about some of us ordering mains to share, some ordering starters to come with the mains and others just ordering dessert, they were happy to oblige.
Between us we tried, blackened shrimp pasta, louisiana pasta, shepherds pie, burgers, steak, avocado eggrolls, buffalo wings, crabcakes, key lime cheesecake, fresh strawberry cheesecake and godiva chocolate cheesecake and everything was outstanding. Nobody was disappointed and we were all stuffed! I was sad enough to take pics of some of our meals we were that impressed
I wish they would open one here as it really does cater for everyone0 -

I'm not normally interested in eating at chains but like everyone else I love The Cheesecake Factory - made an excellent Vegas Christmas day choice 3 years ago whene everywhere else was cashing in on grotesque buffet offerings! As you walk in you can see the cheeseake counter and that sets you drooling - unfortunately if you don't avoid starters and watch the entree portion sizes you end up over-full with no room for cheesecake
