The Bellagio Fountainsthanks, I was looking at a number of discount sites (just googled)
He wants to see quite a few- it's a work research trip. Blue man, O, Le Reve, Kris Angel, V, David Copperfield...
Do any get fully booked- every decent seat, all week long, or would we be ok to arrive Sunday then start getting tickets for the whole week?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsI would imagine you could get tickets to all of those on fairly short notice...but not sure if you could get the discount prices at the box offices so I suppose I don't see the point in waiting unless you're not sure when you want to see them. If you went to the 1/2 price booths they only book for that day (in a few rare cases the following day as well) so that might be a lot of waiting in a queue for those that are available at the booths, then taking the voucher to the box office to get tickets...whether that's worth faffing around with or not I don't know....though if work is paying for them, perhaps discounts aren't as important so going direct to the box offices might be the better option.
Several have deals here:

Criss Angel is available 25% off at Cirque's website.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsThanks!
Work is paying for his half.. but not mine sadly
so discounts are pretty important. I read on the first page guide that they are often cheaper out there and was sort of waiting for that reason.
Now a little worried as I wouldn't like to wait til the day before for each just in case (plus it would mean queing EVERY day) so how else is there? is online best?0 -

In some cases waiting is best - but where there's a decent discount for a show I really want to see I will normally book in advance online before we go. It avoids the whole visiting the 1/2 price booths, queuing, etc...if it's a show we're not fussed if we miss and can't find any discounts before we go, we may wait and check out the booths and get them if they're there, and not worry if not. To clarify - the booths normally only sell tickets for that day. The options at the 1/2 price booth can change and yes, you would have to go every day you wanted to see a show - though each day you buy tickets you do get a voucher for the VIP queue for the next day - so you could skip the big queue on those days...but it would still mean a trip to the booth each day you wanted to see a show. If you are staying at Bellagio, there's one at Bill's that would be convenient at least.
For those where there's a decent discount online somewhere, I'd book those - save the faffing about when you get there...but that's just me.I'd be careful of sites that say they sell discount Vegas tickets though - in some cases they aren't really - or at least there are better deals out there which you book direct with the box office and not through a 3rd party.
One final thing (I do blather on) - you probably already know, but most shows are dark 1 or 2 days a week - so if you're planning on seeing a lot of shows, you'll need to check the dark dates to be sure you schedule them correctly.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsGuys, does anyone know the gun store details where you can go and shoot guns for hour or so? Do they have a website? Like to book in for an afternoon (wife isn't happy about it but would like to do it!)0

The Bellagio FountainsI called MGM last night and the girl checked this with her supervisor, then told me that it was one access per day (for 2 people). She said if you don't use it on the monday you can't have 2 visits on the tuesday. To be honest i didn't use the words 'free food' or anything to definitely clarify if it was just a line pass. If it's just a line pass then it's a rather cheeky promotion. But then, didn't MGM have a great promo last year, only to cancel the bookings on that promo and some poor people had cancelled their good rates at other hotels!
My nights are $139 and $104 on this deal just now, so it's only really worth it for me if it's free food all day! Funny though, I doubt it would be free food all day if you consider that some days are around $50, which is really just the cost of dinner buffet for two!0 -

Hi Lesley!
I was told 2 buffets per day - I did say 'so I could use one for lunch and one for dinner on the same day?' and she said yes...definately 2 free buffets (she used the words 'free buffet' - not me - I just read from the offer and said I wasn't quite sure what it meant exactly) from what she told me - but only 2 - not unlimited access.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The only one Im sore about is KA....could have got cheap seats at the box office, and the view would have been just as good. Oh and Phantom I sort of slept thru a lot of it.....it was on the second night and hadnt fully acclimatised. Copperfield seats are all one price, so the earlier you book, the better the seat.illegitimi non carborundum0
