great... guess who's on NWA in a month or so!!!

on the whole direct / indirect, the above will be our first indirect... i prefer direct as i just like to get the whole 'travel' thing out of the way... to be honest it just bores me! :) so will be good to see how it compares --- not sure i'll like it being dragged out but the flights were cheap as chips so worth the sacrifice!

re:dodge charger - was it nice photome? or are they really basic? (and how was the magnum stoneman?)
Now see , I actually like NW. Last trip from LHR we had a very nice A330, much better than the tired old 747's that trundle around. Very bright and roomy inside, seats wide, nice pitch, and comfy cushions. When we checked in we asked what the front part of Y was looking like for load. He put me on one isle seat of the middle and Tracy on the other, so we had the middle 2 seats free (no one wants to be allocated 2 middle seats). the IFE worked fine, the dinner was normal airline fare, the plane left on time, we got our connection promptly. The configuration is nice as well, with 2-4-2 so couples seats on the outsides. So now they are my favourite airline.
As for the Magnum, all looks and no substance, go for the Charger. we looked to book a Shelby Mustang from Hertz fun collection for our next trip but they stopped renting them.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I'm looking forward to trying the a330 in april LHR MSP & MSP aMS
I was rerouted through MSP due to weather issues last year and found it a really nice airport. The smoking room is startling -couldn't believe my eyes LOL

We like MSP (Minneapolis St. Paul ) as well. In fact we always comment on how U.S. airports look so much nicer than the U.K. ones. Even the head of AA remarked how bad LHR was for "fit and finish"

That was why I moved to Delta got so sick of T3 -so depressing and Gatwick is easier for me. The NW price was too good to turn down as it was so cheap and T4 is nicer (and I get full miles on Delta with NW)

Yes we had the one bedroom. Easily as nice as the Signature. just read my previous Post about parking and taxis, but we would definitely stay there again.

ooooh...going to show Mr ferf1223 this one when he gets home....Venetian is one of the places I wanted to try if they had a good enough offer with free-play...only thing is the only night that works for us at the lower rate is the day after we arrive in Vegas...so a bit early in the trip to have a night away from home base, but maybe! Thanks very much!
