    Trust,

I was thinking about Penn & Teller as an option in a few weeks, would be interested in any codes you might have.

    Thanks,

    Stew

Trust's code may be better, but there's 25% off here:

Read on another forum that Bally's has closed their Total Rewards desk and you have to go to Paris for any TR queries. Also that they have removed a lot of slots, IGT ones I think.

That's going to be annoying if it's an ongoing thing but glad I know to expect it so I will be prepared! As for the slots, is this a recent thing? They removed some middle of last year so I hope they haven't taken out more. :(

Agree with Trust I think...I would go through it and see which things you would definately want to do...check the prices to do these things directly and check around for any vouchers for a true comparison of how this price compares. Things like the American Casino Guide and Las Vegas Pocketbook of Values aren't free, but will have a lot of 2-for-1 discounts which will bring prices down if there is more than one of you travelling.

Personally $75 for one day seems really expensive to me for one person...and if you haven't been to Vegas before, you may not realise - but planned intineraries go out the window pretty quick. :) I think the only way this is value for money is if you really, really closely schedule your day and hit as many as you can and possibly things you aren't interested in but you want to get value for your money...but that's not going to be that much fun and you'll be exhausted. :)

this is 100% on the button great post

Opodo is US Airways but I can not get the price they are offering on cheapflights.co.uk

Surely you would have preferred lovely Devon!

I am actually in two minds I hate flying and get Economy plus on United so with them I would have bene happy, US air were OK when I flew with them in 92 but again that was in business. The cottage in Devon is £200 for a week plus say £100 in fuel, in vegas I can probably get a comped room at either Wynn or MGM but its the spending money that is the pain and as I am all ready meant to be going in May it really is a tough one I will let you know how she gets on ;)

It's just a personal thing, but I am wary of travel agents without websites myself...but I suppose if you rang them and they had availability at that price, and if you paid by credit card, you don't have too much to lose...I assume that booking through an agent you quickly get a confirmation number that can be verified with the airline? So you would know quickly if there was any issue?

Actually, looking at it - their email contact refers to this site:

Just had a look on that site and couldnt find a £222 flight. What put me off the site is their reservation number is 0870

    edit , it seems they do have a normal rate no.(0) 20 8472 8181

Well I fly out to Vegas this Saturday and I am still trying to organise my clothes due to being so confused about the weather. Originally I was going to take skirts and vest type tops for the day and long trousers/jeans for evening due to the climate. However, after keeping an eye on the forecasts the past couple of weeks I then changed to long sleeves and jumpers for the day due to seeing that it was only about 9oC. However, I am now thinking that perhaps the humidity may make it actually feel warmer than it actually is. Any help? I normally feel the cold - I tend to change into jeans when eating in the restaurants in the US due to the air conditioning!! For those just back or have been before does it actually feel warmer than it is due to humidity etc.
Also from the second post has anyone used any of the companies for the helicopter tours? I am wanting to do the one which touches down in the Grand Canyon, but there seems to be mixed reviews and prices....so any recommendations would be appreciated.
Well I think that I have rambled enough
    Thanks
