Ferf, Paris buffet was horrible last time we were there which may have been Nov 2006 or May 2007 and I think we were there quite early.

The "hot" food was barely warm as was the coffee, there was no milk for the cereal and a few other issues I can't now remember. However time had passed and I am now willing to give it another try.

My favourite mid-range buffets for breakfast are Flavors at Harrah's and the Spice Market at PH. Really liked the Bellagio. Liked Wynn the first couple of times then went and found their hot foods cold so didn't go back.
  • hi,
I've been lurking for a while and trying to take it all in - fantastic thread - thanks to all who contribute.

Me and the bloke are doing a Virgin flydrive in mar-apr (thanks to Tesco clubcard points, of course...) and have 2 very short stops in Vegas:

30 Mar - 1 night Caesars Palace, Forum room
    05 + 06 April - 2 nights MGM Grand, Grand Tower Room

Is it worth me doing the $20 trick or are these rooms OK "as is"?
And if they are worth the upgrade, are there any specific room types should I angle for?

    ta!

oh that looks lovely. Consisdering we are staying at the most basic of motels for the rest of the trip I think we need a bit of luxury when we hit Vegas!

I dont rate the Paris buffet bfast either.(last visit was april 08) It is ok but IMO not value for money. I think there are bfast buffets of a similar standard for less money.
I like Flavors but have only been there in the evening.
