New car tyres
Hi, just to let you know, this week I used http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/ and saved myself £50 on two new tyres compared to Kwik-fit. Would highly recommend only drawback you cannot have your tyres fitted the same day.

Hi shaun, welcome to MSE :hello:
We have a "Maintenance Tips" thread at the top of the forum (here) which already contains a link to a few recommended online tyre retailers, but I appreciate you posting about it anyway.
Something I tried was asking Kwik Fit to match the price of the best online retailer, my local centre beat the best price I had.0 -

Lol, even if they beat the price I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

The local vauxhall dealer is not answering their phone today, must be a special day my employer has forgotten about? but they usually do great prices on tyres as well.

Just got TWO 205/55 VR 16s for my Passat for £60 fitted! £170 for one is ridiculous??? They were Falkens which last 12000+ and have better than average wet & dry grip according to tyre reviews .co.uk.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things.
