if talk talk have you held in a queue ,forget about it and call back at another time because they wont offer you anything when they are busy .I always try to phone them when I know they wont be busy
I have haggled a few good deals for myself & other people .

How exactly do you haggle? I tried again and again for a relative but got nowhere. He only offered me the 'bonus' of free weekend calls which I then explained was standard with Talk1 - that shut him up but he wouldn't budge.

I usually tell them what there competitors will offer me .Then i ask can they match it if not I will be moving .I make it clear I am only interested in FREE calls but would prefer to use Talk Talk , ( a bit off bull works wonders )It does help if you know what Talk Talk can offer . they wont extend free evening calls on Talk 1 at the moment ,so I asked for it on Talk 2 and I got it .Just keep quoting your competitors will offer me free calls .If they dont offer you anything say ok I will think about it. Then phone them back get a different operator see how you get on .If you get held in a queue phone back another day you wont get anything if they are busy .
