Count me in for the next 100 days!

Well done everyone for completing this challenge :j:j:j:j

Glad we are all changing our spending patterns :D I am trying hard to be a less consumer and shopper, t's taking some time to adjust tho!

When I have returned the QVC parcels and the refunds have been credited I am taking SarahNeedles advice and I am closing my QVC account for once and for all. I will take the deep breath it takes and close this part of my life. I might then look and see if I can remove it and the other shopping channels from my TV. The temptation is almost too much for me to bear it always makes me want to buy things even when I didn't think about it before watching.

Are we starting the next challenge tomorrow??

If so I'll post my list later on tonight.

HS92836dancingkawaiianimals.gifWell done again everyone who finished today. The support on here means the world to me!

Shall we start again on Monday? Everyone can think about what they want to give up over the weekend and I'll start up another thread.

Sorry I haven't been here much the last few days but I've been working. I was on nightshift last night and back on again tonight so I'll prob not be back here til Sun.

That's sounds great Magni - it also lets me buy and eat an Easter Egg;). I am going to give up Chocolate for my next 100 day challenge!

Hope you have a good sleep.

  • Monday it is, thanks magni!

Think I might give up chocolate again, I've just eaten some and feel ill....:o
  • Monday sounds good to me too.... that'll give me plenty of time to decide what to give up! I'm definately going for toiletries etc and household cleaners (still clearing the backlog from before!), and I'm toying with the idea of giving up chocolate.... plus I need to make a proper effort at not buying food from work, as I fell off the wagon far too early last time:mad:

I'm going to join in with the next 100 day challenge if that's ok - I've been through all my cosmetics, laid them out and made a list of what I've got - that scared me a bit! 10 things thrown away/packaging recycled, as very old/gone slightly funny.

So for the next 100 days (starting tomorrow) I won't buy any more cosmetics/toiletries/make up unless I totally run out of a product and have no alternatives.

    Good luck everyone!

    Hello everybody,

I haven't been reading and posting as much lately as I've been really really busy.

However, I just want to congratulate everybody on getting to the end of the challenge, well done.

I've had 3 blips in total, and have bought 2 books and 1 magazine within the last 100 days, so it's not too bad.

I'm up for the next 100 day challenge and will check back in with you all when I've had a think.

    Toodles

Today is the day then!! The next 100 days begins here. Do we want a new thread to go with it? I guess that's the easiest way. I'll be back later on tonight to start it. In the meantime you can make your pledges here:D Good luck to all who come on board:T

Hi - can I pledge not to buy toiletries and chocolate. Not original I know but I seem to have so many beauty products in the house that I could open a shop of my own!!

The chocolate is more for my waistline - but it will help towards the debt!
