Hey guys, only a few days left to go now and then thats this challenge completed.

I haven't bought any new beauty products in the 100 days and will probably continue this one.

Am looking forward to being able to buy chocolate again though, although i only bought one mars bar during the challenge and thats because i hadn't had tea and thats all the college sold with no shops anywhere near.

The only thing i can think of giving up for the next 100 challenge would be fizzy drinks as i buy quite a bit of them, but am not sure yet!!

Fizzy drinks is a good idea but I can't see me making 10 days yet alone a week!!
I'm still trying to decide what to try for the next challenge.

  • :T today is the last day??? That has gone fast

Am looking forward to the next run, What day we going to start magni??

I am pleaased to report that I am almost at the end of my current Decleor shower gel and have recently seen off two half used travel sized toothpastes and am on my final half used big toothpaste so should see that off in the next week or so. I am also at the end of a body lotion and am about to start in on a L'Occitaine Almond body countour gel thing, L'Occitaine Almond bust firming gel (!? not sure why I thought I needed it but it went with the body stuff) and L'Occitaine tired leg cream. Am also in the process of using a Lancome face cream and DCL face wash (which is taking ages to go) and am wading through my Clarins cleanser and toner - have just totted all that up and I reckon it cost me about £170.

    Bloody hell

  • Hey everyone! Today is the last day, isn't it? I'm pleased to say I didn't buy a single cosmetic/ toiletry item for 100 days. It helped that I got some smellies for Christmas, and just when I was running out of shampoo I was randomly given a bottle by a friend who didn't like it :D

As for the chocolate... I bought 3 small bars and probably ate it another 7 or so times when it was offered. So that's choccie 10 times in 100 days, which is not bad seeing as I used to eat it every day. I make that a 90% reduction in my chocolate intake :T

So when's the next 100 day challenge starting? I'm with magni and others who've done it twice already - it's hard to keep up the motivation. So I might give up something completely different too. I'm thinking coffee....

Fedupandskint - you've done great! Compared to what your spending habits were like, they seem a lot better, so stick with us and you'll crack it soon enough xx

I agree - I feel like I have sort of nailed the cosmetic thing - although I will still include it, just to keep an eye on it. Actually my next one I think needs to be stuff for the kitchen and I may have to find a way of incorporating some sort of storecupboard challenge as I have food coming out of my ears.

  • Last day already!?! Blimey, that has shot by!
I'm ready for the next challenge! I will still be doing beauty stuff, and household stuff, but I'm also gonna think of something else to cut back on to challenge myself.... what yet, I don't know!

So when's the new 100 days gonna start from?

  • Yep, its done!

hmmm. I only bought stuff I needed re cosmetics (body lotion) got some stuf for my Birthday which may go in the present drawer.

No magazines, although Prima despite me cancelling still sent a magazine !! (which I haven't read yet)

I can't give up Chocolate ! hats off to those of you who do!!

I should give up buying books from Amazon and "stuff" from e bay, it would be nice to use the money in my paypal to pay off debts instead of on nonsense!

hmm I will keep my eye on when the next one starts. no amazon and no ebay buying. eeeek!!!1

Last day, and as I am not at work, will not be buying lunch; nor do I intend to go anywhere that stocks temptation, so no cosmetics/toiletries bought either.

Finished 100 days! Seems a long time when you start, then it's gone in a flash.

Will think what I might want to do for the next challenge.

    Happy Easter all.
