heart disease dosnt mean your a cabbage and cant do anything if i was like that what would be the point in trying to get a few extra years of the life i have left. i have hypertrophic cardiomyoperthy i have a inplanted pacemaker/defibrilater which helps keep thing in order well as long as the defib dont kick in as it well hell of a internal shock which you cant control hence why its inpossible for me to work does that clear a few things up. if not veiw me and my family on facebook makes no odds to me0 -

the pill manufacturers must be having kittens that al of a sudden their 99%+ success rate has been put in jeopardy by a single family. 7 'failures' is some going, maybe get a refund on the pills and put that towards some of the gas cost.
(I've assumed you both realise it's an oral contraceptive and not a pessary?)0 -
My wife is a good catholic girl but decided to go on the pill in the only way she could without offending her religion. She puts it between her knees and we've never had an 'accident'. Just a little tip....Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
When you open a post describing your financial difficulty due to your situation, it does beg the question as to why you feel the need to reproduce like rabbits.Sunny in Southampton.0

It's probably hard to resist, but I'd suggest ignoring people commenting on your family life. Your post was about heating your house and you don't have to justify how many children you have or explain how ill you are.0 -

Mostly I would agree with that point of view. However it is relevant that the OP commented(without irony):if there wasnt so many greedy people just trying to make millions in profits maybe we wouldnt be in this mess
It does beg the question how he thinks the money for his benefits is raised.0 -

getting back to the point of this forum which is advising people on fuel matters and not attacking them for being on benefit.
as he is on means tested benifits he will qualify for a social tariff which will perhaps yeild a discount of 10-15% on his bills.
turn thermostats as low as can be stood.
turn heating off in the day when you can
put more funds than needed in the meters in summer time so you have reserves(this is what i do)this way you won't have to put quite so much in in the winter.
just for the record i am my wifes carer, she became paralyzed from waist down after a motorcycle accident,we have three children from before and live on benefit.
we learned to budget so must the op who with ctc and cb payments for seven should not be short of money for bills0 -
