Hello my lovelies,
sorry I havent been in for a while - too busy helping DD with her easter eggs
Intergalactic Floozie you are very welcome to join us& lots of luck for your shrinkage.
Happy New clothes to Miss_Spent - all freebies too :j
Happy New Clothes as well to Completely Lost, Curly Top & Luxor4t.
I should now confess to having spent considerable time on ebay ; watching loads of pretty dresses ... then realised that they were the wrong size for my current 'status' & still refuse to buy a larger size so left them for other more streamlined bidders
Off to update the totals now

Step away from e-bay! I was looking lustfully at some Urban Decay eyeshadows earlier in the week, they retail at £11 in Boots, and a seller was selling them on Buy it Now at £4.50-ish inc P&P, and I was having an internal argument with myself as to whether I should snap them all up. Then I joined the 100 day challenge and have banned myself from buying make up, I bet I have easily got 100 shades of eyeshadow - I DON'T NEED ANY MORE EYESHADOW!Start Date: 27/11/2010

aha, you are going to be a good influence I see :A
You are right, I should step away as sadly I dont actually need anything at all. Not make up, nor boots, nor shoes, nor clothesNo fun at all
Is it very wrong that I just want to pay off my card so I can spend again, but this time paying it off every month, I cannot express how much I am looking forward to actually doing that one day :rotfl:
On an angelic & moneysaving type note, I am just about to dye a skirt. I bought it off ebay about 4 years ago but the sickly pink colour just anoyed me, so I dyed it purple & that's just vile, so now it's going to be a chocolate colour & then it might get worn
see you later

Wow - dying clothes! I'd never actually though of that - what a good idea!
I just get a buzz from buying new stuff - it doesn't have to be clothes, it can be anything! I need to rid myself of this urge because it's ruining me.Start Date: 27/11/2010

Oh I so understand that buzz  Trust me though, dyeing clothes is fun & does give a similar type of buzz
Since giving up clothes buying I've become a charity shop & library fiend ; I still get the buzz but so much more cheaply; candle holder plate thing from charity shop for £1.50 & 2 books from the library for 10p each.
Am considering giving myself pocket money of say £5 a week to buy frivolities with & then can challenge myself to get as many bargainous bits as possible for that £5 .....
Oh dear I can feel another challenge coming on :rotfl:
If you are single by the way you should hop over to the single & in debt thread, we're all very fabulous - if I do say so myself& friendly & support eachother in our diets ( both finanical & foodwise) & chat about all sorts of stuff.
I really must go now, I spend far too much time on here but it does stop me from shopping :A
