  • Bought 2 tops for £4 so please deduct that from my total

Dress down day at work. How does that work. If I buy something to wear for dress down day does that count as work clothing, which is not applicable :j or is it everyday clothing and counts towards my total?
    Dicuss! :p
  • Went into Primark for the first time in ages, came out with a new top - £8, was quite pleased as I didn't buy anything else there. Also got some gladiator sandals from New Look but paid for those with a voucher so they don't count :)
  • :j:j:jooh does work clothing not count??????:j:j:j

    You're a cheeky bunch, I disappear for 24 hours & you're all out shopping :rolleyes::D

Shopaholiski, it's up to you whether you count work clothing or not ;)

  • Would I be too late to join in this challenge? I know you are now a quarter of the way through the challenge so I could say - for example - no more than £70 on clothes until the end of the year?

I'm a complete shopaholic and spend far too much money on clothes?

I'm currently a size 16 and losing weight but I do have plenty of old size 10, 12 & 14 stuff to shrink into, so I shouldn't have the "I am losing weight therefore I must buy new clothes" excuse.

    Please, pretty please???
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

  • Hi all. I have been away for a few days to Buda Pest which was very hot! (weather wise I mean although....)
I bought a pair of navy trousers in H & M because I have struggled so hard to find a pair which fit a size 13(my current size). These cost about £18 but will be negated when I take my M&S cardi back.
Also bought a top in C&A for £7 but that came out of OHs spending money so I don't count that.
I have loved cathcing up with the threads and am now firmly on a diet starting today so I can fit into size 12s again soon.
Off to Asda now for salad stuff

Well, I caved in and spent another £2.85 on a cardigan (ebay)... eek. Another cream one too, which I probably don't need. Whoops.

Today I received one of the ebay tops I bought last week for £3.21. I'm soooo chuffed with it - it's seriously perfect, I wasn't expecting it to be so nice and I already have tons of accessories so I can dress it up or down :D

Intergalactic Floozie - you sound like me! I'm between a 14 and a 16 at the minute, but have loads of lovely size 10-12s which I've barely worn, so I'm trying to slim down to fit into them again... Good luck :)

    Hi

Just to let you know that I picked up two t-shirts from Mr A that were reduced. Came to £5 for the two which is good. Have gotten them with 3/4 sleeves to cover my chubby upper arms. Oh the joys of getting older!! Ha ha

Can you amend my sig. Many thanks. Keep up the good work everyone
I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.
