Just wanted some opinions here regarding a hand bag (I know that doesn't count in the £100 challenge)
Now i'm not really a handbag person but one caught my eye in a local, independent shop. It was large, red and shiny with a big bow on it. It stuck in my mind and so I took OH to have another look thinking that if it wasn't too expensive my boys could buy it for me for Mother's Day.
Turns out is was a Bulgari and cost £50. OH offered to buy it but I told him that under no conditions was anyone to spend that much money on a handbag.
Trouble is........did I do the right thing??0 -

There is a chain of small 'boutiques' called 'Elan' not sure if its just in Essex or if they are franchise.
Thing is I have never had a posh handbag (I know, why should I?) but this is all shiney and it has a gold B hanging on it with all sorts of other bits on it, and its red and I have a red jacket and its pretty.
Still £50 for a HB is obscene, isn't it?0 -

As poorandindenial has obviously legged it to said boutiques oin great hasteI shall answer that for you :
It is a perfectly reasonable amount for a leather handbag... dare not say how much I have spent on some of mine in the past
Take that lovely OH back there immediately & be very grateful ... & enjoy your new bag :j:j
