Lula - just wanted to say - you're amazing for keeping up with everyones totals......
I have a £6 pair of trousers from Tesco to declare.... new balance must be £70 now...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Ooooh fairynuff -
wish I lived near you then we could both have flannels made out of old swimsuits or vice versa. If you sell the skirt then i shall not 'charge ' you for it
thanks Maz :A just for being on this challeng, & happy new trousers
I've just lost my entire £100 allowance  - poor DD1 called from holiday to say that their hotel room broken into & all cash stolen  - being very good little moneysavers they chose self catering  so I 've just had to pay my £100 clothes allowance into her account so they dont starve
I'm so upset for them I've had to buy a 5 pack of dairymilk at £1.00 to stave off the misery- gosh dont they slip down the throat with ease :rotfl:
more adjustments ....

Hello everybody,
I'm still in the challenge and still not bought any clothes so I'm really pleased.:D
Congratulations to Yorkshire Chick that's lovely news.:j
Lula sorry to hear about your DD1's holiday situation, at least you had the money to be able to help them, if you'd spend it on clothes it wouldn't have been available, so that's a good thing.:D
Hope everybody else is keeping up with their challenge.

i have a suggestion, when we adjust our totals, could we maybe post in green and bold, so Lula can speed read and see what needs her attention for the totals???

Lula that is sooo bad. Poor DD and OH. What a blow on their holiday. You NEEDED that Dairy Milk. Hugs to you all.
Yorkshire Chick major congrats. That's the way to grow out of your clothes!!!
Well I don't post a lot in this thread, but I keep up with you all. I'm still on (fanfare) £0.00. Going on an early holiday before easter and I don't need anything.... really.....I think
. (BTW if anyone sees a thread about cutting down on holidays, please don't tell me about it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

£15 off my total please! Got £10 voucher from pigsback so treated myself to a wee top which would have normally been £25! Cheers!0

I need to take - wait for it ...
£28 off my total, for one pair of jeans
But to be fair, I did need then, cos all my clothes are too small, and all my -maternity stuff are too big. So I now have 1 pair of in-between trousers that will have to last til my belly grows some more :rotfl:
I think everyone is doing soooo well btw xDebts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -
Thought I was going to have to buy some new jeans as all mine suddenly didn't seem to fit properly or were tatty on the bottom from being walked on all the time (I hate being short!) but I dug in the back of the wardrobe and discovered a pile of trousers and jeans I haven't worn in the last few years and yay, they fit and look quite fab!
So I've still only spent £1 on DS2 and £4.99 on waterproof trousers for DD's school trip (that have come home caked in thick mud, not sure whether they're worth rescuing!!)0
