I think with all these things Helen, it does seem to depend on who you speak to and perhaps try again at a different time tomorrow.

Alternatively would it be an upheaval to move to say Tesco for their value package? It seems to depend on what speed you are used to, this is 512, and if you download a lot as it is capped at 1gb a month.

Im concerned because a friend was with wanadoo and they really messed her about when she left, they somehow flagged their line or summat or where unable to get BB for month and at the mo BB is the only thing keepinfg me sane (god how sad is that ) so going elsewhere is not a prob but being unable to go elsewhere would be a nightmare

On 1mb at mo for £17-99 with a 2 summat usage allowance, but never really download out, only the occasional album

Just did a search on the forum and a few people do seem to have got the upgrade for £14.99 so definately worth trying again.

While you are here if you pop into Home Phones we might be able to help you reduce your telephone bill

WoW 2 minute phone call for a migrating number, and im now gonna be upgraded to 2 meg at £14-99 with no tie in contract, within 10 days Thanks everyone especially rikki who has helped me by pm :T :T :T :T

Wow oh wow oh wow ! thank you peeps, we're in debt and trying to clear it and this site is my bible and has helped tremendously for which i am grateful. I phoned wanadoo 4 times and got different people every time and was told NO no No i cannot have it reduced. On the 4th call success. Made my day, i add up my savings and jump for joy. good luck everyone else.

Just called Wanadooo - was paying £17.99 for 1mbps.

Pointed out that my year was up and was now looking at my options but really didn't want to move, although would have to if I could not get the right price (mentioned Plusnet and Tiscali at £14.99).

Immediately put through to Customer Care who straight away offered me £14.99 per month at my highest possible speed (probably 2mbps). Guy said that he done this deal numerous times today!

Anyone who is on £17.99 and is out of contact is paying over the odds.
