Thank you Mandie, I thought it was the correct number, but i never get any information out of them at all, apart from `we don`t know anything`
Given the amount of info you guys get on here, i thought it maybe a different number to ring/enquire.

Hey guys, a question: What exactly are the pre-recruitment checks? If references have been taken, and the CRB done is there anything else that is checked/verified/looked-up? Thanks

(In my area I was invited for a tour and introduction to the offices/role but have not heard anything about actually being offered a job/start date, other than the generic success letter about the tests/interviews)

I got through on 01912166816 last week, I believe it is a Line Managers number.

Not as long as some people, interview 23rd July, success phone call a week later, crb cert received 2nd week of september, i suppose it feels longer as ive been out of work since December last year, never been unemployed before and i'm 50! trying to live on benefits is a nightmare as everyone here knows, i cant remember what its like to go shopping for clothes... ah... remember what that was like:D Anyway, enough day dreaming, you at least have given us some hope this week,

i am nearly 50 and this is first time i been unemployed. nightmare aint it. mind you it has taught me how to be very resourceful and realise how much money i wasted really. have just booked a few days away. we have a motorhome so quite cheap for us to get away. not going far but it will be a break from all the job hunting. not had much chance this summer to get away cos of the finances so sod the money, we are going. :j
