Hi Paul. I also applied in Fife. Had interview in May, success letter 10th June, CRB checks and pre-recruitment checks back in August and still no call. What area did u put down to work in? Do you know what your position is on the merit/waiting list? I was 32nd last time i spoke to someone. Hopefully not long now

Congrats huni, the call couldnt have went to a more deserving person and im so so happy you got your start date. This is a bit of good news for everyone really, cos if your area ahould have been included in the freeze and they still called you, well more areas might be doing the same. WOOHOO

Hi Mandie, I am down for the Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Leven areas. Newcastle would not tell me where I was on list but just said there was a freeze. it is getting very fruhstrating and costly. Hopefully get the call soon

Hey im also down for leven and kirkcaldy! I guess we must live in around the same area (never know, might be sittin desk to desk soon lol). Seeing as were the same are maybe u could try ringing the number i have (0191 216 2408). The guy is really helpful and told me my position on the list etc. Might be worth a try to find out where u stand x

Just going back to what Thando posted earlier about getting a call regarding recruiting in the West Midlands mid October, IRC 61418, there seems very little if any news from IRC60076 Birmingham....does anyone have info?

thanks for all your messages . still shaking with shock. am still going to go for my interview with nhs. keep my options open. better go and get some batteries for the old alarm clock. gonna need it again. just hope you all get the call soon. at least it looks like things are moving again. my time line for anyone interested is:
