Would have to be NDG and Generali. Both post excellent thought provoking stuff - I think of Generali as the wise old man of the board (sorry if you're only 22!!), and NDG posting by candlelight as her posts are often at hideous hours of the day!

Looks like I'll have to ramp it up for 2009!!

PaturesNew, Neverdispairgirl, EdInvester, Dunstonh and Soolin who gives advice on the EBay section always talk great sense and give good advice. There are some others, but I can't remember off the top of my head! :o

I respect NDG's posts. She usually says what I'm thinking, thereby saving me from going to all the hassle of posting it myself.
    PN comes a close second.

Edit: Oh, and Mewbie doesn't beat around the bush.

NDG, PN, !!!!!!, FC123 and Generali...

NDG for her no nonsense and interesting posts - plus she is a thoroughly lovely person off forum too.

Pastures for her sense of humour which has me in fits of giggles at times.

!!!!!! for explaining many a thing to me in terms I can understand but without making me feel stupid.

FC123 for the personal experience of fashion retail and the ins and outs of it all, her empathy and supportive nature.

Generali for much the same as !!!!!!, always willing to give an explanation of things without belittling the asker and for very informative posts.

There are so many more people I could mention, like Mewbie for his humour, Clobber and oh so many many more.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

This is a bit tricky to find the right balance. Do I mention one set of people and leave out names by design or accident? There are clever, helpful, funny, informative posters. There are nasty, illiterate, awkward, stupid, aggressive posters. There are people I agree with and those I don't. Those that I admire and then all of a sudden they post a view on something that hacks me off. So after consideration I thought that creating a list of my favourites would be bound to be unfair. (You've been thanked already, what more do you want?)

This is going to sound really crap - but the best poster here.... is...... YOU. Because it takes everyones views, opinions and jokes to make this board a nice place to be.

Aww, this is so lovely, and I agree. Hard to pinpoint certain people, as so many make this forum a great place. Even those who aren't so tactful at giving advice add to the flavour of the place. It would be boring if we all agreed and didn't express free opinions, even if some aren't what people what to hear! It all adds to debate and learning. I have certainly learnt so much from the experiences and advise given on here by those better informed then I am.

Considering this place isn't moderated before posting, I think it does a great job. Group hug to all. :D

I do miss MooMoo, the philosopher. Last posted in Aug...then vanished.
  • I think Generali is the poster I most often agree with.

Oi, that's not a group hug! This is::grouphug:

Oh dear, what've I gone and done? I swear I never used one before, and I only did it that time for information-sharing purposes. Yes, I agree; it's OK if people go in for that sort of thing in ther privacy of their own homes, but this is a public forum.

    Luckily, it's after the watershed....

I know this is MSE and all that, but we don't do the group hug thing on this forum.
