  • I'd go with Generali and NDG too.

Does it have to be just this thread? I like Gorgeous George too (but of course it's because I think it's really George Clooney posting on MSE).

Probably should have done this as a poll!

I'm voting for myself...I mean seriously, I don't know any of you on here. I think it would raise an issue with my own self-worth if I didn't respect myself more than anyone else on here!

What about a quality of posts competition, to save people any more embarrassment?

PS: does anyone know how to change user names? I'm really bored with mizzbiz. I think it's my name that stops me being mentioned in this list :rotfl:
I'll have some cheese please, bob.

I come on here for the varied opinions and different styles of postings so there's no one in particular really. The whole sum is worth more than the parts (or something along those lines).

Besides, forums often contain people who sound very worldly wise and educated via the medium of postings but if you met them in a pub you'd find them with their glasses tied together with string, a packed lunch, a strange twitch and 10p in their sock to call their Mum in case of emergencies.

  • I want to nominate Pickles for his continued optimism in the face of facts :cheesy:

Can we also have nominations for the poster most up their own @rse?:T
You can't win an argument with a stupid person.

I'm dyslexic ie I can't be @rsed to check for typos

There was something like this in the Techie forum a few weeks ago. My reply was that different people specialise in different areas and hence you'd need a lot of categories to get a balanced answer. One may have knowledge of the market, one may be an EA, one may deal with mortgages, one may be a surveyor and so on. People may have different industry insight and therefore my answer is that a lot of people on here have good views and opinions to offer about different subjects.
My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.
  • This board just wouldn't be the same without pickledtwink. Her nonsensical rants have cheered many a dull day.

I like a lot of folk on here, some already mentioned, but I'd also like to single out for praise Pasturesnew - sensible poster with a fantastic sense of humour and fine appreciation of the winegum.

Fc123 also deserves a mention for her valiant attempts at demystifying the rag trade and explaining How Retail Works.
  • Oh and SingleSue, she's great too!

I am boycotting this thread until someone nominates me :D

But yes, most of those nominated seem like good coves all round, I think I click thanks most often for PasturesNew and NDG, but there we are.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

You don't have to be mad to post on here but it certainly helps.
