Well, Nicky, michelle, essexgal - I'll be on SW & will aim to do the Wii 3 times a week for at least half an hour. My 5 stone goal is just the first stage unfortunately, there will be others stages when I achieve this first one, but slowly slowly at first I think!

I think my sig will soon be sporting a Weight Loss Challenge just so that each time I post it reminds me & spurs me on. I know who my saboteurs are at work so I may not be telling them about my new eating plans as they seem to love stepping in to say 'You are lovely how you are' & 'One won't hurt!' & 'It's who you are on the inside that counts' :rotfl: All code for you are fat, we like you fat so we feel better about ourselves so you aren't allowed to change :rotfl:
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Exactly VG and I need to shed a whole person lol but a medium sized child for starters will do - got my GP referral to gym as well so that will help until I win / can afford a wii fit. My family is my downfall hubby is fat but wont do nowt and son is a very very fussy eater plus adhd so he just burns all his off - the swine.
I'll be starting next week - too many goodies in house to waste then its healthy all the way for me
Happy with any wins this year :A

My target is 2 stone by end June although I need to loose a lot more than that. I will be starting the Scottish Slimmers plan (weight management in England I think) as I have lost on that one before. I hope to start on Monday when I start back to work. Will change my sig soon and the battle begins.
    Good luck everyone

ooh, just been reading through some of the posts one here and seems i am in the same boat as a few of you - desperately needing to lose weight!
aiming to lose about 5 stone by the time i start uni in september (thats if i get in! :rotfl: )

got my davina dvds ready to go and planning to start on the 5th also - need to get to asda and fill my fridge with healthy grub first!

a few other resolutions for me are:

    start driving lessons
study more and dont fall behind on my college work!
stop stressing, bottling things up and making myself ill with it - generally to be happier, have fun and take better care of myself!
Go on at least one date (after weight loss!!)
Clear at least one debt and budget carefully

Hope we all do well in 2009, in comping and in life - we all deserve it! :D

    xxx

I fell asleep last night and woke up a few hours later wondering why dd and mr woks were laughing at me:rolleyes: looked in the mirror and dd had drawn all over my face:confused:
big woks has just rolled home with a bag of wet clothes as it was a foam party he was at, he paid 2quid to put his coat in the toilet:rolleyes: as the cloakroom was locked and his coat wasnt there when he left so they told him he could have free drinks all night next time he goes:rolleyes:
demon cat kept us awake most of last night meowing, then 7 this morning it was meowing again, mr woks threw a cup of water over it and we thought it had gone but it must have given itself a shake and back to meow meow:mad:
    to be updated:;)

I'll join in with the weight loss gang :) Only problem is I don't have any scales, or mirrors (another phobia lol), don't go out (to go to slimming clubs etc) and have no money for gym (hahahahahahahahaha me at the gym, oh dear!!!) or a wii fit (have got the wii but never won the fit bit!!). But that will not hold me back!! I will stop snacking on rubbish, eat more apples (3 a day lowers your cholesterol), use my George Forman more and above all else get up off my butt and do some kind of exercise. I get out of breath climbing the stairs in here and that's not right :( Don't know how much I need to lose but its a lot and today's a good day to start.

So count me in. Will think of some way to keep a track. Maybe a tape measure and keep a note in inches of my incredibly shrinking size :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
