I know what you mean. My daughter has just been accepted for uni & the wait was terrible. She was logging into UCAS every 2 minutes. Her friends are still waiting to hear & she is stressed for them now.

I'm only going to the gym cos its a GP thing - old folk with heart probs etc - wouldnt dare go in with the gym bunnies lol - although I used to be one a long long long long time ago - walking up and down stairs is as good as anything and a skipping rope is excellent too providing your ceilings arent too low or how about a hula hoop - my aim is to actually be able to fit inside one pmsl
Happy with any wins this year :A

I'll join in with the weight loss gang :) Only problem is I don't have any scales, or mirrors (another phobia lol), don't go out (to go to slimming clubs etc) and have no money for gym (hahahahahahahahaha me at the gym, oh dear!!!) or a wii fit (have got the wii but never won the fit bit!!). But that will not hold me back!! I will stop snacking on rubbish, eat more apples (3 a day lowers your cholesterol), use my George Forman more and above all else get up off my butt and do some kind of exercise. I get out of breath climbing the stairs in here and that's not right :( Don't know how much I need to lose but its a lot and today's a good day to start.

So count me in. Will think of some way to keep a track. Maybe a tape measure and keep a note in inches of my incredibly shrinking size :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'd really recommend the davina dvds if you find it difficult getting out, they are really easy to follow and they dont knacker you out but are still effective - and you dont have to leave the house to do it - genius!

hope you have a great new year! xxx

Ditto. I sometimes do one of the Davina DVDs with my sister... they are excellent, and she is very good and not patronising!
Life is all about the journey.
