Glad you got the boys loads of nice bits! I think its a good idea to get them things with there money if they need them rather then adding to cc and leaving there money for when they get older, we will have plenty of time for making up lots of savings for them once we get rid of this debt!! Just think how much extra money we will have without paying back loans and cc etc......i cant wait!! lol
Good news on the ebay front aswell. Good to make a little extra and also declutter!!
Hope you have a nice weekend, we are of to the inlaws.....speak soonGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -

Good morning everyone, hope you had a good time at the inlaws mummy?
Well i well and truley blew me grocery challenge budget as filled the freezer and spent £77!! nice full freezer now though that should last us 3 months or so.
have also bought lots of different fruit and veg for ds1 to try and to puree for ds2 so that is my mission for today, i have done all my housework so will soon be peeling and chopping fruit and veg. I also bought some herbs yesterday so my kitchen smells nice and herby, my fella doesnt really like the smell but he will just have to live with it!! just started with mint and chives and then will slowly build up my collection. Would try and grow my own but not that successful apart from mint that will grow anywhere!!!!! thinking if i pot them then they will continue to grow........
Starting ds2 into a new routine today, 3 meals a day and his milk at nap and bedtimes. And his nap will now be in his crib upstairs not downstairs in his bouncy chair. Hoping this will help him sleep longer as ds1 wont wake him up and ds1 wont feel he has to be quiet all the time whilst ds2 sleeps. (and will be easier for ds2 when he starts at the childminders with lots of noisey kids to keep him awake)
Have just put him down awake but tired after his bottle and have only had to go back upstairs once and now its all silent so fingers crossed he doesnt mind and has gone to sleep by himself!!!!
Well its near the end of the month so am getting ready to start recieving some statements!!!!:D Used to dread them coming through the door but wait for them to arrive now!!!!!! (sad eh?!) ONLY ONE MORE MONTH OF MAT PAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!! happy but sad bout that, love the thought of double money from what i get now but sad at returning to work and leaving my boys.........
11st 2oz!! lost the pound that i put on last week!!!!! still doing my sit ups and my muffin top is slowly shrinking. Me and my mum are gonna start walking again 1 night a week and i am going to make an effort and do a walk when taken ds1 to nursery. Used to take ds1 for long walks when he was a baby and found the weight dropped off so need to start doing it again....... also going to blow my swiss ball up and start that again, can either do the 45 min or 25 min workout as both are full body work outs. Never tried the 45 min one as it was more intense and could never seem to fit it in the day.
Right, ds2 is fast asleep (yay!!
) so time for a
before i start on my to do list and jobs that need doing!!!!
Have a good day everyone

Good luck with DS new routine, trying to get Aidan to learn that at night he has a bath, a new nappy, some milk, a cuddle and then SLEEP!!! Any tips?
Isnt it funny because I love to get my statements now too, so I can work out how much I can pay off and its great to see the totals coming down.

Hi pipsmum, my tip would be to keep doing what your doing!!!! he is a a little young yet to realise thats what your doing but it will sink in once he is more aware, did it with ds1 and have never had any problems at bedtime............apart from not wanting to go to bed that is. when he stays at others houses, he actually tells them that he needs to go to bed now please as he is tired, and still has to have his bedtime story!!!!!!!!!!!
Attempting to do the same with ds2 in a fashion, due to dry skin, both boys dont have a bath everyday, just a really good wash.
i still havent heard anything from virgin........rang the number on their website for tracking applications and just got a recorded message saying the applications were taking up to 20 days due to the hi volume recieved, so i should of heard 4 days ago!!!!! might try ringing again tomorrow and see if i can speak to someone. May have to go to the wrong department on purpose to be transfered through to someone!!!! (A skill learnt with sky)December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Good morning.
Not sure if its my hormones but feeling like doing this:
to my fella!!!!!! He is doing my head in at the mo and im feeling very much like his glorified housekeeper, all the work and no pay!!!! (think it may be my hormones....................)
Well day 2 of ds2's new routine and going ok, he isnt drinking as much milk now he is having more food but guess thats the idea. he has between 6-7 oz each feed so averaging 18-21oz a day, but am including calcium through yoghurts, broccilli etc. (although he did polish off nearly 9oz at bedtime last night.....)
Going to buy ds2 a bath seat today as he hates lying down in the one i have now and wants to sit up and splash and watch what ds1 is doing (they both love having a bath together) so i end up nearly in the bath holding him up and soaked!!!!!!
Have ordered an adult and child dummy thing for my ebay stuff (thanks bamby) in the hope to shift the clothes i have and make a little more money than i am, not going to list anything till i get them. The child model will be well used as will always have the kids old clothes to sell.
Off to my mum's today so free lunch!!!!:T i do love my wednesdays!!!! Have got a friend coming for lunch tomorrow as its my turn to host so must think of something to cook, thinking pasta at the mo but will see.
Right well off for a
to see if that calms my raging hormones down...........

Hi Rags - Sorry, not managed to get round to so many peoples diaries recently - I am actually haivng to spend most of my day working!!
Just wanted to pop by and say "hi" and say (that with the exception of your fella) you seem to have things pretty much under control!!
Gotta go now as soon I wont be able to see the screen over the pile of paperwork that is building in front of me!!
Have a good day!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Am feeling much better now, hormones under control..........
Have had a busy day, got a letter through the post this afternoon from virgin.......was declined the credit card!!! That will now show up on my credit record:mad:  but have applied for another egg card for my fella and have been accepted so hoping can still get all the credit cards on 0%, also going to try and get the next account on it too........ My credit rating is not too bad so thinking it was because i have just got the egg card.............
Talked to the hbos loan people too and my new loan settlement figure is £8601.00!!!!!! Have knocked £1k off it in a day!!!!:D
Have also shaved half a year off the finish date for the loan by paying a tenner more a month than what it would of been if i carried on the current term, and that is still a tenner less than i am paying now!!
Which means i am now under £20k in debt!!!!!:j :j :j :j I know its still alot but its heading in the right direction, down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
