  • hellowave.gifGood morning everyone, i have had about 4 hours kip last night as ds2 decided to take back the crown for keeping me awake!!!! Had a stuffy nose which stopped him sucking on his dummy and think it kept irritating the back of his throat as he kept gagging. Ended up perching him on my pillow in my bed to see if that helped. 2 hours later he started to show he was tired so put him back in his crib and he fell asleep!!!! Needless to say both boys are full of beans and i am one step away from crawling i feel that tired.

My fella is working extra today so that will be more pennies. We were gonna throw it at the debt but one of the cars needs brake pads asap and the heater only works on number 4 so going to put it towards that instead.

Went shopping last night and it was actually nice not to have the hussle and bussle that you get during the day. I could walk about and have time to look at things and see if i really needed it. I spent £72:eek: so well over the budget i set myself weekly but i got a box of nappies (£10) and loads of fruit. Why does it cost more to buy healthy stuff?? Think the government have got it wrong somewhere!!!!! I also biught loads of toiletries (needed) as they had good deals on. My fella's deodrant was a pound, i got some herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for a pound each, my deodrant was reduced to £1.50.......... so got a lot for my money!!!!!

goodscales.gif Weekly weigh in: am still 11st 3 oz!! that is ok with me as thought i had put on as still feeling really bloated. Really need to get my butt into gear and start exercising as well as eating healthy.

Right am off for a hot HSsingshower.gifand then a coffee.gifto wake me up fully and make me feel human again!! Then i can tackle the scratchcards, daily clicks and check the bank balance.

  • hello rags, been busy on here! I was only away for a day :) Glad you got to cancel the loan insurance, good to bring down the debt! We alwasy get extra cover on things and never need them and when we do find out they never cover us!! We spent loads on extra stuff for the loan on the car - warrenty, and the protection etc etc, and when the car broke only 20p for a little part was included and we had to pay £130 for labour and diognostics.......so i wont bother again!!anyway little ramble from me then..

Hope your not to tired today, its so hard with lack of sleep....

Good you didnt put any weight on seeing as you thought you was going to...hope it starts to come of soon, bet when your back at work and running round after the kids and sorting the house it will all fall of!!

  • Hiya mummy, i know what you mean about the insurances!!! I too always get it as they paint such a bad picture and then im sucked in!!! me and my fella got out life assurance last year and have put the total recieved on death (touching wood) to cover the repayment of the mortgage, debts, funeral costs and then a bit left over so really dont need it now. On the unemployment part you have to be out of work for 30 days before they pay, so will of struggled to make the payment in that 30 days anyways! stupid. (mental note to self: DO NOT GET SUCKED IN AGAIN!!!!)

Not many weeks till you have your baby now............ looking forward to it??

Are you a member on qype?? they do good offers and at the moe if you join there latest challenge you get £50 of virgin voucers, i did one before christmas and got £50 amazon ones and it didnt take to long.. You have to write reviews on places you have been. each one has to be over 100 words and you need to do 50, so it took me about 3 evenings last time - ok for £50!! just thought i would let you know.

Reallly must get my bum in gear and get to tesco.....

  • Just had a certain company on the phone about my gas and electric (think talking appliances!) and they dont want me to leave ( ) so have offered me a cheaper deal to return!!!! Now i am usually sceptical about this but they have offered me a really good rate and it doesnt have a standard charge attached so works out miles cheaper!! My direct debit will be going down to £50 and even more so in summer when not using as much for heating and the like!!!! cheerleader3.gif Just have to be strong now when the company i have just moved back too rings up and tries to get me to stay as there rates are cheaper untill they add their standard charge!!

So will have another £6 to throw at my debt but think will leave that for the overdraft!! pennnies makes pounds and all that!! Now its to get the house phone bill down, anyone used talk talk and are they any good???? think they are cheapest at the mo and only really need it for the line to use the internet. Sky keep ringing me offering their £5 deal but im sure thats on top of the £10.50 line rental???? must look into that............

oh and kick my fella in the butt to get him to ring the third mobile phone to cancel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that will save us another £50 a month. Anyone else any ideas on where else i can save???????

  • hellowave.gifHello everyone, feeling very refreshed today as had a nice relaxing night with my fella and a glass of wine watching a film on itv2, ds2 actually slept well last night and my fella let me have a lie in this morning and woke me up at 11am with some brekkie and a brew!!!woohoo1.gif

My fella has got ds1 a little quad bike   off one of his mates so they have gone out in the wind and drizzle to play. not sure who is the biggest kid yet, my oh or ds1??!!!

well not much planned for today apart from staying in and keeping warm!!! cooking a nice roast dinner (nothing better when the weather is naff) and sorting out the chicken for meat for sarnies and cooking some pies and sausage rolls for my fella's box.

ds2 had some apple puree for breakfast and still isnt impressed with it and is going to have some sweet potato puree for tea, cant wait for the look on his face with that one!!!!! have started making up my batches for him in the freezer (my million ice cube trays come in handy) with the fruit left in the fruit bowl and the veg left in my cupboard. saves throwing it out!!!

gonna sell the yoghurt maker ii found in the cupboard, dont think it is something i will be using here!!!! might go for a fiver??? more for my debts!!!!!!

right well not to break with tradition i am off for a brewcoffee.gif

  • hellowave.gifGood morning everyone!!! hope you all had a good weekend??

Well the sweet potato puree was a success!!! ds2 wolfed it down opening his mouth wide for the spoon.:D still not keen on the apple so may have to use that with something else. Has got carrot puree to try today from the extra i did with our roast yesterday.

Have to post some ebay items i have sold today, but thats about it on the dfw front. Also need to do my daily scratchcards and clicks (anyone else noticed that kelkoo has now gone down to 1p??!!!!)

Off for a walk with my friend and her little one later for free exercise and have done my 50 sit ups this morning. need to get rid of this muffin top!!belly.gif
