Evening,
Tooch - So sorry for your (and your friends) loss, thoughts and hugs are with you.
Pigpen - Congrats on the new cousin, thats quite tiny for a tiny person, 4lb something.
The rest of you have been far too industrious...I started the bedroom, tidied and got rid of a few bits, then got into bed and watched the rest of my DVD in peace. Gona have to change the bedding tomorrow and do a mass hoover too. Though that should be me sorted for the new year, one or two more washloads may be...
Gonna knuckle down and sort out my plans for the new year, got ideas but I like to have them on paper, kinda makes me think that they have more chance of making it that way. They don't, but I have a good feeling about 2009, I actually feel in control and I [strike]think[/strike] know that I'll managed to do at least some of the stuff! Like pay off my credit card, and lose some weight! Now, where's my notebook...
ETA Pigpen - I know its just been chrimbo and all, but do you have any liitle female ppl who might make use of some kiddie cosmetics and a hair set, and a scarf...sorting out my prezzie stuff and these were things I'd bought for a friends little girl, but she stopped talking to me (no idea why???)Now MARRIED!11/09/100 -
(((tooch))) - thats so sad xx I would use the gift bag. Kids dont care about the wrapping in my experience.
pigpen - congratulations. When is your sis and DS's GF due? A friends niece is due twins on 21 Jan. Her son will turn 1 on 20 Jan      3 babies under 13 months.
First WM load on but the house is lovely and tidy, so I can watch the football with a clear conscience. Better phone my mum and find out what she wants me to cook for New Years Day. Just working 8-1 tomorrow (getting away early) so have plenty of time to get all my ironing done. I'm with toots on that one...no dirt from the old year into the new year :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Evening all
Quick post to say :hello: to all our newbies. Sis left this morning, but tomorrow I have an invasion of 3 20-somethings and DS's GF, who will be staying over as apparently her parents said they "don't care what she does for New Year". I took her and DS to the hairdresser's today, then DS and I went into town - £21 in Officer's Club for a pair of jeans, 3 pairs of socks and a jumper, and it should have been £21 just for the jumper! :T I also went to town with my sister yesterday and got several gift sets at half price, so they can be put away for birthdays.hellsbells45 wrote: »:xmastree: Please count me in. Have ME and have been doing the lists when I can and found them very helpful to PACE. House in a right old state as am just coming out of a 3 month relapse. Am sure your lists will help. Thanks.:D
Hellsbells - don't over do it, will you? DS has had ME since just before his 10th birthday (he's 17) and his GF has had it for almost 5 years, so I have a bit of 2nd hand knowledge, as it were.I'm on the FRC for AYME and am a member of AfME.

I'm going to put birthdays in my diaries now and then start my finance diary. I've counted my 20p pig and that's another £10 towards the 0% card - yeahhhh!
Stomach very tight and serves me right for overdoing it yesterday - LL DO NOT OVER DO IT HOWEVER BORED YOU GET!!!! I've had my warning.
Hugs to all xx0 -
Hugs tooch - its always harder when its unexpected
Everyone has been very productive today... so I need to construct my list of what I have done carefully
My oven shelves are now clean, the kettle is descaled and the spare shower head is now soaking in vinegar. I'm making turkey and porcini risotto (possibly with sweetcorn and it appears to be the only vegetable in the freezer).
I now need to get the inside of the oven as clean as the shelves. I supposed a wash with soda crystals is probably the answer.
And one question... I've wiped out the MW with a damp cloth, as its not often used so isn't very dirty, but how does everyone else clean theirs?0 -
thanks ssl was hoping someone would say that. I have git the pressies successfully downstairs, waiting for DD to go to sleep now, so I can get the scooter from the boot of the car!!
on the flying front I have mopped through downstairs(We always have visitors on NYE and the house is usually full of christmas/birthday pressies, but this year, thanks to pigpen:A , the lists and all the flyladies, i think i can safetly welcome any unannounced visitors!!!
don't know if i'll get here tomorrow, so while I'm on the subject, I hope you all have a great NYE and a FAB welcome into the new year_party_  :grinheart :happylove  ,0 -
