Evening all, so here is my first 'flylady' thread. I had good intentions of doing 'hell'n all' this morning, and started off well.
I made the beds, and cleaned my 2 bathrooms. Folded the dried washing and put it away in the basket. (before breakfast)
After breaky I did an hour's ironing, leaving perhaps another hour's worth for tomorrow  .
I emptied waste bins and tidied around in the lounge, cleared up the kitchen worksurfaces and swept the floor....then everything went pear-shaped.
We had unexpected company that stayed till lunch time. After lunch we went out to buy me a shiny new laptop, as mine is now 6years old, very slow, and most of the letters on the keyboard have been worn away. I can't use it till it's been back to PC World to have the data treanferred, and all the softwear configured...cos I'm too thick to do it myself.
Never mind...tomorrow is a new day, and I will endeavour to do more around the house before we go off to the cinema on a cheapie 2for 1 'Orange Wednesday' ticket.
I hope everyone enjoys their New Year's Eve, and may 2009 be happy, healthy, peaceful and 'tidy' :rotfl: .

Thank you for all your welcomes, but I'm a teensy bit concerned there have been 6 pages to read since I finished work, cripes how on earth how am I going to keep up with you all!
    lisa xx

Hi Lisa and welcome... you don't have to keep up - I've been out all day and try to skim read where I can, but usually have to catch up on someone elses big posts (like Valli, she's great for bringing me up to date) but I try where I can - everyone is always great and you can just jump back in at any point and never feel out of it... good luck...

Not done anything again today except put on a wash, then went out to get some new curtains for the kitchen as it's freezing in there as we don't have any - got them home and don't like them against the wall colour now so will have to go out and get some more tomorrow... see, too finicky as my hubby's say's.... see you all later, out to get some grub as we're all starving and I can't be asked to cook (budget won't work at this rate... still, not really planned till end of Jan when work starts coming in again ;) )

    Take care all... xx

cos I'm frightened of missing something...
and someone - can't remember who now;) taught me how to do multiple quotes...

I have made a veggy chilli (AKA Chilli non carne:rotfl:) with whoopsied parsnips, peppers and what I had in ... loads of SW syn free food for ME!
And I brought my jumper in off the line - ooh it's cold out there...

And yes Soappie Dusty got her skates on today...

My DS was born on 25th but due on 9th (docs date) or 11th (hospital's date) and 9lb one and a half ounces! No wonder he had to be pulled out through the front:rotfl:
