Gryfon – do you already have le crusuet stuff? I’ve had it for 16/17 years and find it very heavy. I’ll be looking at replacing it soon and wont get it again. It does look beautiful. Does Mr G do the same job that AnWsMum’s DH did? I am in the same business…sometimes allocating the public holidays :o

Mr G is a policeman, has been for just over two years now and I'm still trying to get used to it! Especially when his hours are changed which means it clashes with something I'm doing. I'm not impressed as next week his hours have changed from 7-5 to 8-6 which is just a right pain and on Wednesday I was hoping to leave the house at 5.10 to go to WW but now I need to either take the children with me or see if my parents can take them. They didn't even ask him, just did it! That's what peeves me more.

Two of my creuset things are just 8 years old, the other 3 things I have no idea! Apart from they fact that they're black, very heavy and very well used!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible

Noswaith dda, everyone (got to start practising again!:o)

I'm being very lazy, and I'm sure it's psychological because I know I'm back in work on Monday.

    Today, I have done:

SS - bathroom and shower room
    SS - kitchen
    WM x 3
    CP - drunk
    TD x 2

I've also been for the weekend paper, the garden centre for some fish tank sealant thingy and a trip to the butcher's for a load of meat for the freezer.

When I got back, I did a 5GC (cleaning up after the dogs and a litter pick in the front garden) and then I've sat with my feet up watching TV and checking emails.

DS is making tartiflette for dinner because we both like it, but OH has decided he doesn't so he's having bacon and eggs.

Kazm, Lil_me, Toots - I have had friends like that! Like the one who started speaking again early in 2007, after taking the huff when I was being treated for depression, she was brilliant when my Mum died, but then my DD had a very brief fling with her brother (both free and single) which she didn't approve of and she hasn't spoken to me since last New Year. I saw her through two divorces, and was there at the drop of a hat if she was ill (she has 4 children), but if I need her, she isn't there for me. The annoying thing is that I really miss her company. Having moved around so much, I don't actually have many friends living near me and she was the only I ever went out with, if not out with family.

Welcome to more newbies :hello: and welcome back to JillD

Dustykitten - how is your Nan?

Summermoon - package in post winging it's way to you. :D

Flower - (((((hugs))))) to you, but :rotfl: about them waiting for 40 minutes!

OJK - my kind of guy!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(And please pm re: song)

I don't suppose anyone's close enough to try Reiki on me? I'd swap you for a Holistic Massage?:D

Ashia - I did my Pharmacy Dispensing training when it cost 25p per item? (don't tell me - it must have been before you were born!:o) and we used to mix creams and ointments on a pallate with a knife, used a pestle and mortar, and made kaolin & morphine with the Morphine from the CD cupboard! And the prescriptions were handwritten - IN LATIN - so we had to translate as we went. I did 3 years compulsory Latin at school and said I'd never use it, then used it every day. :D

Feeding vibes to Germany for Pigpen's cousin.

*you lot are talking faster than I can read*

    Justamum - (((((hugs))))) to you

Phew! I've finally caught up on the thread! Not sure what's on the gogglebox tonight, but need to do some knitting as DD has 1.5 "fingerless gloves with mitten flap" so I need to complete the other one asap while it's still cold.

I'm still trawling the jobsites for a new job. I can't believe I started looking in April! It's just finding one at the right level of pay that I'm qualified for, but I need to be grateful that I have a job (even if I'm not sure how long that will last)
