Ooh you nosey moose... mad isn't it? I need £500 a month off my debts to clear them this year!

Have to confess that I have been a nosey moose too :o:p But you have done amazingly well to pay off as much as you have.

My HHC didn't happen cos my hands got too cold to type! So, I have started but not finished the science.

Still feeling a bit cold, so I'm going to have some soup and hope I warm up a bit.

Froddy - put on more clothes, or turn the heating on/up or both. It's too cold for sitting and typing at the moment (my work from home outfit consist of sheepskin boots, thermals, fleece, down waistcoat, scarf, long thermal fingerless gloves & a fleece hat :p ... and none of them match  )

Hoovered the spare room, and the top couple of stairs, so those are now finished :j Having a break now before going back to deal with the stuff stacked on the landing preventing me getting to the airing cupboard, bathroom and study!

Well nothing really...I can ALWAYS find stuff to do...house is pretty clean and tidy really. Just ironed the dampest washing and had a panic because I thought my iron had broken. That would necessitate Soappie style purchasing. Can't be without an iron and my 'spare' one is a real 'emergency only' item. Mind you I tidied that one away (it was on a shelf in the kitchen) and I can't remember where to! :rotfl:
Get away with you Pigpen if it was 'all secret' it wouldn't be on here...you are doing so well with it and should be justifiably proud...can you not tart or stooze (whatever it's called) to a 0% card or is it all consolidated now?
And don't spend the extra child benefit all at once:rotfl:

  • I was on MSE an hour and a half ago and was snooping at this thread!

decided to get my !!! of the sofa and got up and hoovered and dusted the living room, hoovered the hall, re-arranged the fridge inc. removing shelves and washing them down, rearranged the freezer so i know what i have where... cleaned the kitchen and bathroom-hung up one (small) load and put another one in!!! also ordered 2 more kerbies because one is not enough to recycle all our alcohol bottles!!!! *shame*

pfffftt not too bad me thinks- now i have to clean myself and go up and babysit for a neighbour (plus call into my mums and collect the bread bin she is donating to me- they are soooooo dear, so i just kept bread in the cupboard but it wasnt ideal- so nice little surprise)

agaaaagghhhhhh i'm getting old if im excited to receive a bread bin!! 6 weeks until i'm 23- eeeeeekkkkk

  • I have just come back from town, my wollies are closing today. It’s really sad. They are just about chucking any thing in a big bag and selling it for £1. Would have filled my own bags for £1 but the queue was too long and DS was tired of the park so DH was ready to go home. In the run up to closing have kitted out my LOs for next year more or less. I have resisted the urge to go further than that because we’d have to live on it all year and it would just be perpetuating my clutter problem.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.
  • Today I have done the following
    2 loads of washing
    1 hour of ironing
    descaled kettle & iron
cleaned the WM of black gunk
    cleaned the bathroom
    S&S the kitchen
    been shopping
    general tidying
    made a spag bol

    Am off to hoover.

Tomorrows prioritys are taking down the xmas stuff & sorting ds clothes.

Thanks greenbee - I have put on a long cardi and am now sitting with my camp blanket over my knees :rotfl: I can't remember the last time it was this cold down here - I had to scrape ice off 3 sides of my car at 10:00  Think I might wrap myself up on the sofa for half an hour and then come back to it!!

Morning *she whispers from her huddle in the couch, with a bottle of lucazade by her side* I'm cold and tired and grumpy. I feel a bad day coming on, Sky City just seems a total bombsite and I don't know where to start. Trying to head the feeling off a the pass though. Figure if I do stuff gently I'll feel like I'm getting somewhere(hopefully) but not run myself ragged which will leave me no help to anyone. *blows raspberries* Must remember to get curry out of freezer for tea tonight!

Printed off my compulsory modules for part 2 of my Dispensing Assisstant course, not as bad as I thought they were going to be I have to say, some really dodgy stuff and I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna sort out some of the practical stuff 'describe a situation where the custmer has no idea what they are looking for' who goes into a pharmacy with NO idea what they're looking for????(someones going to ome back on me on that one aren't they:o )

Grrrrr. Right I'm off to attempt something productive, or I might stay in my huddle....

ETA - Welcome Chivers!!! Congrats on convincing OH to go hrough his wardrobe, I've been trying to do that for months and months. Whats your secret???? Share!!!!

Well a whole bin bag went to the charity shop. His diet starts on Monday so I think that he sees it as a whole new start for 2009. Even spent 2 hrs clearing out the bedroom!
